Oiwa-san
The vengeful ghosts of the yurei are usually young, wearing a white funeral kimono, and black hair covering their faces. It is better not to meet such a girl on the streets of Japanese cities. These ladies are consumed with a thirst for revenge, they usually live near the places where they lived before death. Oiwa-san is the most famous Yuri. She lived in the 17th century, was the wife of a samurai. A man who has a mistress poisoned his wife. Having died in terrible agony, Oiwa-san returned to her husband in the form of a ghost. The samurai did not suffer visions, went mad and died.
Kutisake-onna
When traveling in Japan, be careful. We advise you not to appear on the streets late at night, so as not to meet Kutisake. A famous urban legend tells of a woman with a slit mouth. It is impossible to escape from her, she will immediately appear in front of you again, but you can make her angry at the same time. She appears in a surgical mask and coat and then asks, "Am I pretty?" If you say no, she will cut off your head with the large scissors that she always has with her. If you say yes, she will remove the mask and show her mouth cut from ear to ear. Then she will ask: "What do you think now?" If your answer changes, she will cut you in half. If you stick to the old answer, then Kutisake will do the same to you - cut his mouth.

Okiku
In Himeji Castle, a beautiful girl named Okiku served the samurai. Her master, the samurai Aoyama, wanted to take possession of the beautiful Okika, but the girl rejected his advances. An angry samurai stabbed the girl with a sword and threw the body into the well. Soon after, the ghost of Okiku began to wander around the castle grounds. Every night she came out of the well in a long shirt, matted hair hiding a pale face, and her eyes were bottomless black. According to legend, one priest still managed to calm the girl's spirit. This legend later formed the basis of the film plot, however, in the film "The Call" the ghost of Yuri was a girl.
Kashima Reiko
A sweet girl fell on the subway rails and was run over by a train. But even without legs, she wanders the streets, seeking revenge. If you are unlucky, she can cut you in half with the scythe she always has with her. The ghost moves on her elbows, emitting the sound of tek-tek; the legless lady prefers to hunt children who walk late in the yard.
Aka Manto ("Red Cloak")
Avoid public toilets in Japan. After all, the evil spirit of Aka Manto lives in Japanese latrines. The spirit appears and asks what color you prefer the cloak: red or blue. If you choose red, then she will chop off her head, if blue, then Aka will strangle.
