A Voronezh physicist put forward a sensational hypothesis of the nature of a poltergeist
It happened in the kitchen of one of the Moscow hostels for young builders. In the fall of 1988, the "three girls under the window" were sitting and drinking tea. Suddenly there was a knock at the door. One of the girls went out onto the landing, but there was no one there! Then there was another strong knock from the ceiling and from the closet. From that day on, an invisible fourth guest settled in the room. The girls called him "drum" and learned to communicate with him by tapping. "Barabashka" was sometimes naughty, but at the same time he helped the owners: he turned off the iron, reminded him of a boiling kettle, etc.
Soon this story became famous throughout the Soviet Union. In order to distract the people from the difficulties of perestroika, the highest authorities ordered to write about the poltergeist nicknamed Barabashka in newspapers. But was he the first and only one?
The "noisy spirit" is to
blame
In the winter of 1666, Tsar Alexei Mikhailovich was informed that "evil spirits" had appeared in a Moscow almshouse, near the Ivanov Monastery. Someone invisible knocked day
and night, shouted in a bad voice, and most importantly, did not let the inhabitants of the almshouse sleep, throwing them out of bed. On the advice of the boyars, the tsar ordered to find and bring to him the Monk Illarion, who knew how to cast out demons with prayers.
He served an unprecedented service in the almshouse with tears in his eyes. Then he commanded everyone, having crossed themselves for the coming sleep, not to be afraid of anything and go to bed. “I, in fear, hid myself in a fur coat and hid under it,” wrote a witness and chronicler of the event. "But the monk sprinkled everything with holy water, and gradually disappeared, never reappearing."
Such demons were noticed a hundred and two hundred years later. Each showed himself in his own way: one bombarded houses with stones or fragments of bricks, another smashed windows, slammed doors. Locked drawers opened by themselves, and rumbles and other strange sounds came from the walls and furniture. Things in houses flew from time to time, and it seemed that someone was carrying them. There have also been cases of spontaneous combustion of water, blood, and kerosene appearing from nowhere.
Voronezh physicist Vladislav Bukreev, who has devoted his whole life to studying the unknown and mysterious, has no doubts that the poltergeist really exists. "Bumps", anomalies, UFOs, ball lightning, magnetic fields, the internal energy of the Earth - these and many other phenomena became the basis for his research. Boukreev says that numerous natural disasters are often associated with manifestations of poltergeist - in translation from the German "noisy spirit".
Poltergeist is observed all over the world. For example, in 1967 in Germany, in the office of a lawyer, for several weeks, electric bulbs turned in sockets by themselves, photocopiers splashed paint on paper, due to countless calls to the same number, which no one of the employees actually dialed, the telephone the company presented a solid bill.
In 1977-1978, aggressive outbreaks of poltergeist drove a family from a small house in north London to despair.
An incomprehensible force moved sofas and other bulky objects around the rooms, and also lifted teenage girls into the air and made them fly.
More recently, a poltergeist attacked the whole village of Lebyazhy Polyany in the southeast of the Volgograd region. The “noisy spirit” first settled in the house of an 80-year-old man, but then almost the entire village got acquainted with its manifestations: smashing dishes, windows, clocks, flying knives, terrible illiterate notes. These strange cases were considered by specialists from the Volga group for the study of anomalous phenomena. They were even able to record the manifestation of the poltergeist on a video camera.
- However, - adds Boukreev, - sometimes it happens that a poltergeist behaves kindly, neatly arranges household utensils. And in general - he is more attached to people
than to a place, and will follow a person everywhere. And if he “hurts”, then you need to understand why and eliminate the cause of his discontent. Then the spirit will immediately stop its pranks!
The opposite is true!
The "noisy spirit", according to Boukreev, has an energetic, physical, chemical, biological and mental basis. From the realm of spirit, he quietly passes into the realm of matter and vice versa. Often, his reaction is the reaction of nature itself to the violation of the harmony of things, events.
And that is why it is possible to get rid of the "reels" only in non-standard ways. How this was done a hundred years ago in a remote Siberian village by a wandering gypsy.
One of the peasants once complained to him about his life:
- You can sleep only in one half of the hut - in the other at night someone knocks and throws bricks from the stove.
The village teacher and other "literate people" came to the farmer with an overnight stay - they wanted to convict the old man of ignorance, but they themselves were frightened and could not help. And the gypsy brought a "deck of cards" and said:
- Leave, everyone! And then look where I put the cards!
He conjured something, whispered. Came out. The peasants returned - and noticed the maps in a conspicuous place. The gypsy
gave them hope: - Move in, live. He will have something to do!
- Who is he? To whom "him"?
- He will play cards, not hooligan!
They turned around - and there was no deck! And "barashka" really didn't bother me anymore.
- Poltergeist is programmed by nature in each of us, - the Voronezh physicist notes. - True, not in every person he feels at ease and finds his visible expression. However, typical nervous breakdowns and explosive mental states are also a manifestation of a poltergeist under the influence of adverse events in the external world. It is important to take into account that the rules of the “noisy spirit” are opposite to the laws of our world.
Boukreev was the first in the world to propose a poltergeist formula - polar to the physical world, where phenomenal rules operate: the numerator becomes the denominator and vice versa.
“From school, everyone knows the gimbal rule: if the rotation of the handle coincides with the direction of the current in the conductor, then the movement of the gimbal itself will show the direction of the vector of magnetic field lines,” says the physicist. - And the manifestation of the poltergeist is reversed: the circular magnetic fields emphasize the rotation of the handle, and the rectilinear direction of the current - the movement of the gimbal itself.
This is probably why the fur coat that has caught fire by the efforts of the "little drums" cannot be extinguished with a fire extinguisher, but the flame can be knocked down with your hands, without leaving burn marks on your palms. And the suddenly flared dress burns to ashes, leaving no ash, but the skin and underwear do not suffer at all.
Flee or fight?
One hundred and seventy years ago, the leprosy of the poltergeist also affected the future Moscow governor Dolgorukov, today better known to his compatriots as a character in novels and films about detective Fandorin.
Pushkin himself wrote about this in his diaries: “There is a lot of talk in the city about a strange incident. In one of the furniture houses they decided to move and jump, Prince Dolgorukov dressed up the investigation. The priest was summoned, but during the prayer the chairs and tables again did not want to stand still."
It turns out that holy water does not always get rid of the "little bastards"!
When asked what conditions are most favorable for the occurrence of a poltergeist, physicist Boukreev answers as follows:
- Regardless of whether it is an apartment or a house, an organization or a private territory, a poltergeist will manifest itself in a spirit of despondency, ill will, nervousness and suspicion.
"Barabashka" starts up in dysfunctional families - after all, he is a manifestation of the anti-world and is caused by the biofields of conflicting people, schizophrenics. And the passage of objects through walls or the eye of a needle is possible during the period of resonant vibrations of the human psyche, in particular, with a strong imagination.
“The only thing that can be done,” the scientist recommends, is to weaken the effect of the poltergeist with the strength of the spirit and good mood. Although there was also a case when the victim of a poltergeist, driven to the extreme, was helped by … unprintable abuse! And pets scare off poltergeists. In a house where there is a cat or a dog, it practically does not exist. The reason is that animals calm down, reduce the heat of passions. Therefore, smile more often and enjoy life! It is not for nothing that it is considered that despondency is a grave sin. Nothing threatens optimists, not even a poltergeist.
