Conspiracy and conspiracy theory was invented by the CIA for psychological warfare

In our infospace, there is one unusual phenomenon that evokes a wide range of emotions in people - from blind faith to ironic banter. This phenomenon is called "conspiracy theories" or "conspiracy theory". Conspiracy studies have become so deeply embedded in our lives that any phenomenon that does not fit into the official scientific, political or sociological version is referred to it. In conspiracy theories, the flat earth theory coexists with not yet recognized scientific theories, and aliens and UFOs - with covert operations of special services.

However, because of this diversity, a thinking person often comes up with one thought: conspiracy theories, or conspiracy theory, is a well-planned operation to discredit inconvenient phenomena and events for the world's ruling elites in all spheres of human life. This statement, by the way, also fits into the conspiracy theory, has every right to exist.

The first misconception among all people interested in conspiracy theories is that there has always been a conspiracy theory, throughout the entire existence of human civilization. But this is a deeply erroneous judgment. This theory is a very young phenomenon, invented and introduced into society some half a century ago.

In April 1967, the CIA issued a secret dispatch that first defined and termed "Conspiracy" or "Conspiracy Theory" and described methods of discrediting such theories.

The dispatch was labeled “CS” or “Secret Services” and was classified under the heading “psychological” for “psychological operations” and disinformation. This cable was made public by a request to the CIA under The New York Times' Information Act in 1976. The dispatch notes in particular:

“2. This trend of opinion is of concern to the US government, including our organization …

The purpose of this submission is to provide a methodology to counter and discredit the facts of conspiracy theorists in order to prevent the spread of such facts and theories to other countries. The original information is provided in a secret section and in several unclassified attachments.

3. Action. We do not recommend that a discussion of a conspiracy issue begin where it has not previously been. In case of active discussion, the following measures are applied:

and. To neutralize the problem of publicity, it is necessary to use friendly contacts with the elite (especially with politicians and editors). It should be noted that the official investigation of the relevant event is done as thoroughly as it is humanly possible. The accusations of critics have no serious basis, and further discussion is speculative and only plays into the hands of the opposition. It should be noted that these theories, apparently, are deliberately generated … by propagandists. It requires encouraging (politicians and editors) to use their influence to discourage unreasonable and irresponsible speculation.

b. Use propaganda assets and refute critical attacks. For this purpose, book reviews and fiction articles are especially important. The unclassified appendices to this manual should serve as a useful reference for doing this. Our trick is to show that:

- critics were associated with theories even before evidence was obtained

- critics are politically interested;

- critics are financially interested;

- critics are hasty and imprecise in their research;

- critics are too keen on their theories.

4. In private discussions in the media that are not directed at any particular writer, or in the case of criticism of publications that are still available, the following arguments should be used:

and. No significant new evidence was obtained that the Commission did not consider.

b. Critics tend to overestimate certain facts and ignore others. They tend to pay more attention to the memories of individual witnesses (which are less reliable and have more discrepancy) …

from. The alleged conspiracy on a large scale would have been impossible to hide in the United States, and whistleblowers are counting on large royalties, and so on.

e. Critics are often carried away by their intellectual pride, they illuminate a theory and fall in love with it. They mock the Commission because it didn't always answer every question with a simple answer.

d. Such vague accusations as “more than ten people died mysteriously” can always be explained in some natural way….

5. If possible, conduct speculation, citing a link to the Commission's report itself. Foreign readers unfamiliar with the American reality should be impressed by the care, thoroughness, objectivity and speed of the Commission of Inquiry. Reviewers of other books might be encouraged to add to their account the idea that, by looking at the Commission's report itself, they will find it far superior in quality to the work of its critics.”

Summarizing the tactics proposed in this CIA dispatch, one can draw the main conclusions about the methodology of the "conspiracy theory":

- to argue that the silence of so many people about such a large conspiracy is impossible;

- ask people who are friendly to the CIA to criticize the claims and refer to the "official" reports;

- claim that the testimony is unreliable and deceitful;

- to claim that all these facts and evidence are outdated, since “no significant new evidence has appeared”;

- ignore any conspiracy claims if the discussion about them is already too active;

- argue that critics speculate irresponsibly;

- accuse the supporters of the theory of being attached and carried away by their theories;

- accuse the supporters of the theory of political motivation;

- accuse supporters of the theory of having financial interests in promoting conspiracy theories.

In other words, the CIA's secret services division created the case for the country being attacked by conspiracy theories in the 1960s as part of its psychological warfare operations.

And, finally, the most important method is to create a wide range of absolutely absurd theories within the framework of conspiracy and conspiracy theory, equating them with the given facts, classifying them in one category, thereby discrediting inconvenient facts and events that do not fit into the official version. …

In fact, conspiracy theories are so prevalent that all of Western civilization is based on them - from Greek democracy, the Charter of Liberties, the American Constitution to the entire system of free market capitalism.

In the American system of jurisprudence, there is not only the very concept of conspiracy, but also there are specific laws, according to which hundreds of thousands of people were convicted.

If you type in the phrase "Guilty of Conspiracy" or "guilty of conspiracy" into a search engine for the legal research network Westlaw, the search engine will return 10,000 links to court decisions. This number is so small only for one reason - the search engine itself does not return more than 10,000 results. A Google search returns 420,000 results in quotation marks for "Guilty of Conspiracy", 146,000 results for "Convictions for Conspiracy" and 57,500 results for "Convicted for Conspiracy" (convicted of conspiracy) … Without the quotes, we get tens of millions of results.

Of course, any sane person will say that conspiracy is a conspiracy, there is a huge spectrum, both in politics, economics and even in primitive crime, the concepts of "conspiracy" and "conspiracy". However, this is the CIA's methodology to separate inconvenient facts and events from simple natural conspiracies and collusions and classify them as unreal, fantasy, and thereby discredit them.

In American history, there are a huge number of cases where facts and events were first attributed to conspiracy theory, ridiculed and discredited, and then after years or decades they received their confirmation. The latest example is Donald Trump's admission that the Twin Towers were blown up during 9/11 and not collapsed as a result of the impact on them by passenger planes.

In fact, conspiracy prosecutions can be found in huge numbers in the American press. A few examples:

- NBC News - "Lay and Skilling are guilty on almost every count."

- Department of Justice - "Defense Ministry official accused of espionage and conspiracy";

- The New York Time - "Former New York TV official pleads guilty to conspiracy."

And there are thousands of such publications. That is, the term "conspiracy theories" or "conspiracy" is quite legal in the United States, but only for certain cases when inconvenient facts and events do not begin to interfere with the authorities and elites. Then, with a slight movement of the hand, the "conspiracy" turns into a "conspiracy theory", is ranked among the fantastic conspiracy phenomena and discredited until after some time these "conspiracies" receive their documentary confirmation. But, as they say, “the train has already left”, all goals have been achieved and no one returns to inconvenient facts.

In fact, the CIA did not come up with anything new in its 1967 cable to create a "conspiracy theory". Back in the 20-30s of the 20th century, the famous Czech writer Karel Čapek wrote a brochure entitled “Twelve Techniques of Literary Controversy, or A Guide to Newspaper Discussions,” in which he described in an extremely succinct form not only the method of creating a “conspiracy theory” and attributing to him on a par with real fantastic facts, with the aim of discrediting them, but also the main methods of concealing and distorting inconvenient facts and events, and “destroying” the opponent. Many attribute this work to the foundations of the modern art of controversy, known as "trolling". Czapek described the practical application of these techniques and methods in geopolitics in an extremely ironic and humorous form in his brilliant book "War with the Salamanders". So the CIA is by no means a pioneer in this area.

The methodology, honed for decades, now needs only one thing - the invention of new unreal and fantastic theories to compare them with real ones in order to discredit the latter. Here human imagination is practically unlimited. So fantasy theories appear that it is amazed how only people can believe it. But for this there is a similar methodology - to make people believe in the unreal and doubt the real. It is part of the famous CIA Operation Mockingbird to create a parallel, Orwellian reality.

To understand what has been said, I want to cite a few recent fantasy theories classified as "conspiracy theory":

- The Beatles never existed. There is an entire site called The Beatles Never Existed that actively discusses this conspiracy theory;

- Saddam possessed a Stargate. It is quite seriously believed that there were some kind of Stargate in Iraq, through which aliens got to the Earth in uncontrolled numbers, and the war in Iraq was actually started to stop this;

- Dinosaurs helped build the pyramids. There is a creationist school in Malta where Pastor Vince Fenech teaches this very theory;

- Michael Jackson was killed by the Iranians. On the day that the king of pop died, Twitter got stuck with a huge amount of RIP tweets that knocked the #IranElection top trending off the top spot. This prevented Iranian demonstrators from using this trend to organize protests against the manipulation of the elections by Ahmadinejad, destroying the protest movement in Iran;

- And at the same time Michael Jackson is alive, Elvis is alive, Stalin is alive and working with Putin, Mark Zuckerberg is the grandson of David Rockefeller, and according to Britney Spears, her friend Prince Charles is a reptilian.

How convenient is it to equate these theories with the facts that ISIS, which is prohibited in Russia, was created, financed and armed by the United States and Israel, Israel is ready to demolish the Al-Aqsa mosque on the Temple Mount and build the Third Temple, the Rohingya “genocide” in Myanmar is due to the desire harm Chinese oil and gas pipelines bypassing the Strait of Malacca, chemical attacks in Syria staged White Helmets, and the top of the US Democratic Party is the pedophile community. And then, in response to the above facts, ridicule and discredit the opponent. Everything is strictly according to the instructions of the CIA.
