Eli Meyer, a pregnant American woman, underwent an ultrasound examination of the fetus in mid-October. Neither the future woman in labor, nor the staff of the Center for Healthy Motherhood noticed anything unusual during this procedure. It turned out that Meyer was expecting a boy, while all indicators of the child's health were normal. Only a week later, one of Eli's friends pointed out to the woman a strange detail that appeared on the sonography of her fetus.
Meyer, who lives with her husband in Evansville, Indiana, has never been a religious person, but now the mother-to-be plans to reconsider her attitude to faith in God. The fact is that Meyer's ultrasound imprinted a strange, at first glance, "artifact" strikingly similar to the crucifixion with Jesus Christ. The picture clearly shows the cross and a thin, long-haired man hanging from it. Eli, as well as her husband and friends, are convinced that this is a sign from above, not only for the American woman, but also for her unborn son, who recently turned thirty-one weeks old.
When the mother of the pregnant Meyer learned about this mysterious incident, she published the image of the Savior on the social network "Facebook", where the amazing picture attracted the attention of thousands of users and instantly spread to other sites. Many regulars of the Network report that they cannot deny the incredible similarity of the "artifact" to the crucifixion with the Son of God. "If it is a coincidence, then such coincidences happen once every millennium," writes one commentator. “Perhaps this is an omen that an unusual life awaits the child,” suggests another. “Nothing is accidental in this world,” adds a third.
Jesus Christ did not appear by chance
It is noteworthy that Eli suffers from Crohn's disease, a chronic inflammation of the gastrointestinal tract. The woman has always feared that her deplorable condition could adversely affect the health of the child she is carrying. However, now she is not so afraid anymore. “It seems to me that God decided in this way to tell me that recovery awaits me, and my baby will be spared the consequences of my illness,” says the American.

The pregnant gynecologist, Dr. Michael Broder, argues that the "crucifixion" is actually the developing central nervous system of the fetus. However, this does not in any way contradict the point of view of those who saw the miracle in this picture. The doctor himself confirms that he has never seen anything like it in his practice. “We, of course, are sure that this is the central nervous system of a child, but we still have to admit that it really looks a lot like a crucifix,” Broder agrees.
