Apparently, such a well-known structure for fun, like a swing, tends to attract various devilry. At least that's a common artistic cliché. In every second horror film, the quiet creak of the chains of an empty swing informs viewers that something terrible is about to happen. However, such paranormalism is often seen in real life.

So, an ordinary American father Scott Danton from the city of Warwick, which is located in Rhode Island, came the other day with his three offspring to the playground for the children to frolic and relax here. However, the parent did not dare to let the two daughters and the son play, as the family faced something inexplicable. Presumably, an invisible ghost turned out to be on the playground, which took a fancy to one of the swing.

A ghost or is it just an ordinary wind?

In the video below, Scott and his children are first seen in the back seat of a car. The man speaks into the cell phone camera: "We are now near the playground, but my children do not want to go there anymore, because … look at this." After that, the platform itself is shown, on which a large blue swing spontaneously moves from side to side, as if someone invisible is sitting and swinging animatedly on them. At the same time, the rest of the swings nearby are stationary.

Danton says: “There is no wind, no one around to swing them and leave. They have been swinging like this for several minutes and are not going to stop. Moreover, it seems to us that they are even moving faster and faster, as if someone is actively swinging at them. Absolutely empty playground, other swings do not move at all. Just look at this. What a horror!"

The original video posted by Danton on Facebook has already garnered over four and a half million views. Many Internet users, having watched the video, were as puzzled as the American family. It is unlikely that a father and children would begin to tie a fishing line to a swing in order to play a trick on users of the World Wide Web.

The skeptics, however, have a different assumption. It is noted that the "revived" swing has a different design. They are equipped with a massive plastic back, which, thanks to the wind, could act as a kind of sail. Other swings on the playground had only ordinary seats, so they practically did not move. By the way, there really was a wind there - this is clearly noticeable if you look closely at the trees behind the site. But could he swing the swing - that is the question?
