Many of the "traditional" historians completely unreasonably adhere to the version, absolutely not proven by practical archeology, that the Scythians were supposedly Asians with characteristic features of Mongoloidism. But who, in fact, were the representatives of this people, whose lands stretched from Eastern Europe to the Far East? To clarify this, let us turn to specific archaeological finds.

In favor of the fact that the Scythians were our ancestors is also indicated by the "Legend of Slovenia and Ruse and the city of Slovensk", in which the princes Slovens and Rus are called the ancestors of the Russian people, who founded the cities of Slovensk (now Novgorod) and Rusu (Staraya Rusa) after long wanderings in the III millennium BC. The legend says that they were the ancestors of the prince Scythian by whose name the ancient state was called "Great Scythia". It was his successor that later became Rus, and the Scythians began to be called Rus.
Therefore, the history of our people is actually much older than the Vatican falsifiers and their servants are trying to instill in us. And, of course, our ancestors were not “wild barbarians,” who supposedly did not have their own statehood before Rurik and their own writing before Cyril and Methodius.
