Sacsayhuaman itself is a city, but almost always and in this case is no exception, only 3 walls built one after another are of interest.
These very walls were created from megaliths of various sizes, up to some incredible ones. The very length of the walls is from 300 to 400 meters, and the height is 15 meters and more.
Of course, the complex, or rather these very walls and the level of polygonal masonry, is admirable. Looking at this object, the official version with the construction of something like the ancient Incas and primitive tools sounds nothing more than funny.
But it is worth speculating about the purpose of these very walls, in the form of some kind of fortress. Although many claim that the walls were built for protection, something like a fortress, this version is more questioned and easily explained.
Think about it, according to the official version, the construction of the "fortress" began already in the 15th century, even closer to the end of the 15th century. So, really then people were stupid that they could not get around the walls, 300 meters long.

In fact, for any commander-in-chief of the troops, this wall would not cause the slightest difficulty in capturing or attacking the city, since it would simply be bypassed.
For me personally, this is already a compelling argument to push the version of the object's purpose as a fortress into the background and forget about it.
But there is another, no less popular, alternative version of the purpose of all these walls - this is a testing ground and tests of weapons of different power up to similar to thermonuclear ones.
Let me remind you that no matter how many skeptics there are, there are a lot of traces of the use of the most powerful weapon both thousands and tens of thousands of years ago. Moreover, some traces prove the existence of thermonuclear weapons, or even more global and destructive.
As for the Sacsayhuaman fortress, there are also some traces about which tourists, as a rule, do not know, and in general, as far as we know, few people go to those places of the fortress.
One of these most important trails in Sacsayhuaman is a large fragment of a wall with huge megaliths, which seemed to be exposed to high temperatures, due to which they were deformed and slightly destroyed.
There are traces without severe damage, but the megaliths there are very different from the neighboring ones. They seemed to be exposed to high temperatures again, but the consequences were not so critical, except for completely black stones that stood out clearly from the rest.
Of course, there are not many traces of the use or testing of weapons, but at least they are and this is a fact. A fragment of a whole wall of huge megaliths could not begin to melt by itself, and on such a scale the ancient people could not have used anything for such a result, it is simply impossible.
In any case, everyone believes what they want, but for me personally, the version with the ancient landfill sounds much more believable. In addition, this version has at least some evidence, but the official version is nothing more than just words and assumptions.
