On Wednesday, September 19, 1979, in the Argentine province of Mendoza, at about 7 pm, two boys played side by side in a playground in a vacant lot near the city of Santa Ynez.
11-year-old Hector Daniel Lara and Ricardo José Moron were swinging on a swing when Hector saw something unusual in the sky.
The boy pointed to the red glow with his finger and then both children watched as from the sky from a height of about 20 meters the red glow smoothly descended to the ground near the site.
At a distance of about 70 meters from the guys, the red light jumped up sharply, but then returned down again. His behavior frightened the children and the boys rushed away. But they did not run home, but ran to their three friends, Adrian and Ulysses Sepúlveda and Omar Barranca.
When already five children came to the wasteland with a swing, they saw an object and white-blue flashes of light at the indicated place. Before the boys had time to approach the object, there was a sharp and loud noise, as if someone began to whip with a whip. After which the object disappeared and did not appear again.
When the children approached the place where the object stood, they saw a trace on the ground from a circle and five holes as if from supports. Four on the sides and one in the center. The boys later ran and told the police about what they had seen.
On the same day, September 19, but early in the morning, Corporal of the Argentine army Anabal Raul Petracini was preparing breakfast in his kitchen in La Gloria, department of Godoy Cruz, the same province of Mendoza.

Suddenly, the man saw an aircraft in the form of a disk outside the window against the sky. The disc landed on the ground near the Petracini house and appeared to be very small, about 2 meters in diameter.

But he also doesn't remember what he did the rest of the time. He woke up in bed, covered with a blanket, only early in the morning of September 20, when his alarm clock rang.
