During the next excavations, Polish archaeologists found a metal artifact, which in its appearance resembled a propeller. The strange object was made according to preliminary data somewhere in 1000 BC, according to the portal www.planetanovosti.com with reference to the Archeology News Network. The excavations were carried out near the Dukla Pass, which is located almost near the border of Poland with Slovakia. The artifact, even considering its age, was able to survive very well. Scientists have suggested that it could have been an element of some very old weapon, for example, an ancient mace.
It is not a secret for anyone that with the help of the Dukla Pass you can easily move from the territory of modern Slovakia to Poland. This can be done if you walk through the Carpathians. There are also suggestions that for several millennia people have used this pass in order to shorten the path and move faster. Most likely, the person who owned the mace was from the Middle East and held a rather important post in the state. At that time, it was possible to determine the status of a person by weapons; during the next campaign, he could lose an element of the weapon. It could also have happened in a very tough battle. Scientists are going to conduct research on the found part in laboratory conditions. This will allow you to determine from which alloy the discovered "propeller" was made.
