The Pine Barrens Institute in Wisconsin (USA) is famous, among other things, for the fact that it employs specialists working in such a controversial discipline as cryptozoology.
That is, they conduct research on scraps of wool or bones of the alleged yeti, travel to places where they saw strange animals, and so on.
One of these specialists is Adam Benedict, and two weeks ago he received a report from a resident of the town of Beloit (Wisconsin) about a strange "chimera" that she met in a vacant lot.
According to The Singular Fortean Society, the event took place back in 2013, but the eyewitness did not want to talk about the incident to the last, probably fearing notoriety.
According to an eyewitness, she and her husband were driving in the spring on the road from Burton St to McKinley Ave at about 4 pm and, passing by an empty field, saw an unusual animal near a line of bushes.
The animal surprised both of them so much that the woman's husband immediately slowed down to get a better look. The animal was large and with a large barrel-shaped body like a bear. It stood on its hind legs, laying the forelegs on the trunk of a growing tree.

In an attempt to get a better look at the beast, the couple parked on the side of the road. And then the "strangest" began.
At this moment, both spouses were finally covered by a wave of strong and overwhelming fear, as they realized that they had seen something completely unusual. They immediately drove on and only started trying to explain what they had seen along the way.
The next day, a colleague of eyewitnesses told them that she also saw something strange in the region. Only she saw this animal in the forest while hunting. And when an eyewitness asked a colleague if it was a cougar, she said that it was definitely not.
At the moment, the publication is asking for a response from those people who also saw an unusual large animal in Wisconsin.
