On September 5, an interesting round table meeting was held in Kiev, dedicated to the UFO phenomenon and, in general, “unidentified” objects, phenomena and processes. Scientists, professional seekers of anomalous phenomena and even representatives of the Church have spoken on this burning topic.
True, there were no major breakthroughs in the study of the topic of messages. "The current state of science does not allow us to establish whether, for example, extraterrestrial civilizations exist," said the head of the Ukrainian research center for the study of anomalies "Probe" Oleksiy Perekhod. However, according to him, the accumulated material allows us to conclude that many "strange" atmospheric phenomena "have a pronounced technogenic origin, but for some reason they do not come into contact with people."
As for the underwater objects that accompanied Soviet and American submarines (and even attacked them) - a film was made about this recently shown on the STB TV channel - the researcher noted that it is difficult to judge the nature of these phenomena so far, “since all the materials of the military are on this topic is classified."
Astronomer of the Main Astronomical Observatory of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine Alexander Pugach said that "since there is a UFO, this is already the answer to the question of whether we are alone in the universe." However, according to the scientist, it is not necessary to look at the sky in search of fellow minds, perhaps what we are looking for is “literally under our feet”.
In addition, according to Pugach, a person is looking for someone else's mind, having not yet been able to cognize his own, not understanding what life is and what he himself is, a person.
As for the position of official science regarding UFOs and everything else that does not fit into the "framework", then Alexander Pugach sees a quite reasonable explanation.
“Official science firmly denies the existence of UFOs and in this it agrees with the position of politicians and the military. They deny that the recognition of the existence of which is not beneficial to anyone. After all, the military claims that the sky is locked, and here something like that flies. Moreover, it flies at such a speed and in such a way that it violates all the laws of physics - here is the position of scientists, - said the astronomer. “Politicians do not want to admit the existence of forces incommensurably more powerful than parties, institutions and modern states.”
The Orthodox Church does not see any special problems with UFOs. “How does the Church feel about UFOs? We have not seen them,”said Vasily Anisimov, press secretary of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate. But even if the "little green men" appeared directly on the territory of the Lavra, this could hardly be considered evidence of a change in Divine designs.
