A woman named Paula has witnessed two anomalous phenomena in two years. At first it was an unusual ray of light from the sky, and the second time, in almost the same place, she saw a winged monster.
On April 20, 2014, Paula was sitting by the window in her bedroom. Her home was near the Lakewood Forest Preserve. It was 11 o'clock in the morning when a bright ray of light suddenly fell from the sky onto the street between the houses.

This phenomenon lasted only about 15-20 seconds and during this time the beam moved very slowly. It was orange-golden in color and emanated from a certain point in space, while almost not illuminating the houses and the road.
The ray disappeared just as suddenly as it had appeared, it seemed to be drawn back into an invisible point, making a small indistinct noise. Shocked by what she saw, Paula fell onto the bed with the thought that this light had seen and watched her. She had this feeling.
Two years later, in 2016, on the same day on April 20, at about 6 a.m., Paula was taking the trash out of the house and suddenly something on the street caught her attention.
It was across the street from her and looked like a tall black humanoid with wings. In appearance, the creature was more than 2 meters in height, while it stood hunched over, and when it began to move, it limped.

It was completely black, and its head and upper body were covered with the same black hair. The wings behind him were large and leathery, and the creature had partially wrapped them around its body.
When it began to move, its hopping movements were jerky and unnatural, as if Paula was watching a bad animation. At the same time, the creature made moaning sounds.
Somehow Paula decided that she shouldn't expect anything good from this creature and that it was very negative towards her. Therefore, the woman immediately turned and ran to her house.
When she ran to the door and began fiddling with the keys, she turned back, thinking that the creature was following her. But it has already disappeared somewhere.

According to Paula, she interviewed several neighbors, but no one saw anything strange. And only one of the neighbors took her story seriously.
