Timeline is a supernatural phenomenon that allows a person or group of people to observe events from the past, and sometimes from the future. For a short time, the border between the present and any other time period becomes thinner, thanks to which eyewitnesses have the opportunity to contemplate and hear what once happened or will happen in the future. This phenomenon is observed in many parts of the world, and some places have become especially famous due to the periodic appearance of chronomirages in them.
Fighter over Biggin Hill
A World War II Supermarine Spitfire has been and continues to be seen over the abandoned military airfield Biggin Hill on the south edge of London. A propeller plane from the 40s, according to witnesses, has the ability to make a kind of circles of honor over the airport and disappear into the clouds. Some people even hear the noise of an aircraft engine when it flies low above the ground. Someone is convinced that this is not a chronomyrage, but a real ghost (the difference is sometimes difficult to determine). Skeptics believe that the fighter is real and belongs to some wealthy collector.
A flaming castle in a Lisbon grove
In September 2004, in the suburbs of the Portuguese capital, an incredible time mirage appeared, amazed hundreds of eyewitnesses with its enormous size. At about 7 pm, thunderclouds appeared over an area of about 3 square kilometers, followed by rain. A lot of cars were driving along the busy highway. Suddenly, after another flash of lightning, a luxurious castle, engulfed in fire, appeared in a small grove near the road. The glow of the fire illuminated the entire area. The shocked drivers stopped and got out of their cars to get a better look at the castle. Someone even called the firefighters, but after 15 minutes the chronomire disappeared, and the rescuers came in vain.

Megapolis in a fishing town
In the small Chinese town of Penglai, a few years ago, one of the longest chronomirages was observed. It lasted almost 4 hours. In the evening, a white fog descended on Penglai, but there was no haze in the coastal part of the city. Many witnesses who were on the coast looked at the bright canvas of fog and saw on it, like on a movie theater screen, a kind of projection. Instead of a modest fishing town, the Chinese were presented with a futuristic metropolis with tall skyscrapers, fantastic towers and aerial roads.
Knights on Lake Pleshcheevo
Lake Pleshcheyevo, located in the Yaroslavl region, is considered by some to be a holy place, while others, on the contrary, are considered cursed. Nearby is the ancient Russian town of Pereslavl-Zalessky. The reservoir is often shrouded in dense fog, through which, as the local legend says, you can see the knights. The ancient Russian heroes came across many people here. Unfortunately, chronomirages in this area do not last very long, and therefore there have not yet been mass events with hundreds or at least dozens of witnesses on Lake Pleshcheyevo.
Isle of Tanet
The English countryside of the Isle of Tanet has long been famous for its chrono-mirage. The most famous such case occurred in the 30s of the last century with the physician Edward Gibson Moon. Having served another patient, the doctor left his house. After taking a few steps from the porch, our hero suddenly noticed that the fence around the patient's home had disappeared. The medic turned around and realized that the house had also evaporated, and an unfamiliar area stretched around. A man in antique clothes and a flintlock rifle on his shoulder approached Moon along the dirt road. The strangers looked at each other in surprise for a while, and then the mirage disappeared, and the Englishman found himself near the client's house. Perhaps in the past, a man with a gun also saw a chronomire, only for him it was a vision of the future.
Timelines in Stockholm
For the Swedish capital, chrono-mirage is also a frequent occurrence. So, at the beginning of the 18th century, the famous inventor and philosopher Emmanuel Swedenborg was walking around Stockholm and suddenly saw a huge palace in front of him instead of the usual wooden houses. The palace, according to the man, was surrounded by lush gardens in which smartly dressed people walked. Swedenborg saw all this as well as the familiar street that morning. And at the end of the 19th century, picturesque islands with stunning landscapes were seen in the sky above the city, and these mirages were also incredibly clear and realistic.
Air islands in Ireland
In 1908, a green island with numerous trees, houses and tall fortifications arose in the sky over the Irish county of Sligo. Hundreds of eyewitnesses were struck by this phenomenon to the core. One of the witnesses became interested in this miracle and learned from old records that in 1684 an island with a beautiful city was also seen hovering above the ground. And in County Cork, a similar anomaly was observed at least in 1776, 1797 and 1801. Some witnesses of the chronomirages even managed to see people walking along the streets of the heavenly palace.
The late medicine man from Protasovo
Protasovo is a small village in the Tula region. More than a century ago, a terrible event took place here by the standards of those days. The village teacher went to the local healer and received medicine from that. When the patient was returning back, he met a friend and told him where he was coming from. An acquaintance of the teacher, taken aback, said that the healer was dead, and he was buried last week. Our hero, of course, did not believe it. He was not too lazy to go back and found the boarded-up house of the doctor. But the medicines in the teacher's pocket were real, so there could be no talk of hallucinations.
Monks Nikandrov of the Holy Annunciation Hermitage
Nikandrova Holy Annunciation Hermitage - an Orthodox monastery in the Pskov region - has long been known to researchers of supernatural phenomena for being able to "project" chronomirages. Most often, monks in ancient clothes appear here, while they do not look like ghosts at all. Ascetics do not look like translucent smoky figures, but like the most normal people, however they behave like holograms. Monks walk through walls and trees, ignore new paths, passing through places where paths used to be.
Airplanes over Black Peak
Between the English cities of Manchester and Sheffield there is Black Peak Mountain, over which chrono-mirage appears periodically. Local residents and visiting travelers have noticed planes from the past in the sky many times. So, in 1997, the spouses David and Helen Shaw saw an old bomber above the ground, which at the same time looked completely new, as if someone had restored and brought into working form an exhibit of some military museum. Interested in this observation, David later found out that this plane crashed here in 1945 due to bad weather.
Miracles of the Zhigulevsky Peninsula
On the Zhigulevsky Peninsula at the bend of the Volga in the Samara region, chronomirages are noticed almost every quarter. As a rule, witnesses observe in the sky above the earth many domes and turrets of some delightful temple, which has never been found anywhere in Russia. It is noteworthy that eyewitnesses notice an anomaly in different parts of the peninsula: someone is at the top of the hill, someone is at the cliff, someone is near the river, someone is not far from the local lake. It is not possible to identify this religious building - it is possible that humanity did not create anything like this at all. Maybe an incredible temple will be built here in the future?
Battle of Shiloh
The Battle of Shiloh, which took place from April 6-7, 1862 in Tennessee, is considered the bloodiest battle of the American Civil War. The total losses during the collision amounted to about 24 thousand people. According to local urban legend, a metaphysical "video" of this battle is still seen in Shiloh: cannons thunder, rifles shoot, sabers clink, wounded soldiers shout. If you believe the rumors, the first such chronomyrage was seen at the end of 1862, just a few months after the terrible battle.
