The two main buildings of the Ostankino television center are ASK-1 and ASK-3, also known as “big” and “small”. They are located on opposite sides of Akademika Korolev Street. There is an underground passage between the buildings.
Many visitors to the TV center note the seeming chaos in the way rooms, stairs, rooms and offices are located here. The corridors are especially memorable. They are incredibly long and have many crossroads and turns. You can often get lost here and wander into a dead end.
It was in the building of ASK-3 that the character of Semyon Farada was lost in the film "The Wizards", who had already lost hope of getting out and ever seeing people again. Even telecentre employees are often forced to wander if they have to go to an unfamiliar place in the complex.
The underground passage between the buildings is remarkable in itself. It is unusually wide, uneven, paved with asphalt, and the walls are lined with yellow tiles. Some people compare the feeling of going through this tunnel to the path to the place of execution.
It happens that a person walking through a tunnel feels lost or is suddenly attacked by an unreasonable anxiety. The guards on night watch say they heard strange sighs at ASK-3.
But even those who work in the daytime sometimes start to feel not very good. Headaches, chronic weakness and deterioration of the immune system are considered common among telecentre employees. One of the possible reasons for this, as they say, may be that "Ostankino" was erected where there was once a cemetery.
Most often, the ghost of a humpbacked old woman and a red dog is seen in the television center. Also a frequent guest is a ghost called the White Steam. A ginger dog is noticed only in ASK-3. She looks like an indistinct silhouette of an animal that never approaches a person. Usually she can be seen when she silently runs across the corridor. One man managed to follow the dog, but she led him to a dead end with sealed doors, and she herself disappeared into thin air.
White vapor is something that looks like a white cloud that appears near the ceiling and disappears after a couple of minutes. It usually appears in the newsrooms before the announcement of an emergency with many fatalities.

The hunchbacked old woman, as they say, is the famous Ostankino witch, whom the boyar Alexei Satin met, who once owned the village of Ostankino. Meeting her does not bode well for the one to whom she falls out.
