An unexpected statement? I agree, however, there is still no clear understanding of how life originated on our planet and evolved to the present state. There are more questions than answers. One of the hypotheses: we are aliens. And it has many reasons.
1. Fossils
To date, scientists have discovered traces of the oldest life on Earth. It existed as far back as 3.83 billion years ago.
Let me remind you that the solar system is no more than 4.5 billion years old. Consequently, already 700 million years after the formation of the planet, it was inhabited by the primary forms of existence.
But let's remember the events of that time: not only did the planet cool for a very long time, it was also constantly stormed by meteorites and asteroids. One of them (the size of Everest) almost completely destroyed all life.
And evolution, as we now understand, is a long process. It turns out that in such conditions it will be difficult to grow to the level of people over the past time.

2. Meteorite life
Meteorites are constantly falling on the Earth and other bodies of the solar system. And if now this process is less active, then at the dawn of its formation it was massive.
There is an assumption that the first manifestations of life were formed on these bodies. And, perhaps, in addition to water, they brought to us the primary building blocks of life.
Asteroids are already being found that contain fossils that look like bacteria. So far, this is only an assumption, since no genetic material could have survived for billions of years.
On the other hand, the similarities are very high. And only further discoveries of such bodies will help to clarify the issue. In any case, there is speculation that microorganisms are able to survive on asteroids.
3. The Martian Trail
In the first 1-2 billion years of the formation of the solar system, Mars was more adapted for life. It cooled down faster after formation, especially large bodies did not collide with it (as with the Earth, which led to the creation of the Moon), and the atmosphere was present.
This is now, due to the absence of a magnetic field, a dense atmosphere, an unpleasant temperature, most likely there is no life there.
But earlier - it could have happened. There was water (the beds of dried up rivers and seas are proof of this), and it is an important condition for the formation of life in the form we know.
And the increased interest of scientists in the Red Planet is not accidental. There is an assumption that life originated here, and then was transferred to Earth, which became more suitable.
4. Supermind
The universe is huge. Even now, its diameter is at least 60 billion sv. years old. And this is the most pessimistic opinion. The actual dimensions can be an incredible number of times larger.
She is 13.7-13.8 billion years old today. During such a period, life could arise in many places. If only 4.5 billion years were enough for us, then during the above-mentioned time, the mind could reach unthinkable heights.
One of the ideas is that we were artificially created and given an evolutionary impetus. It is difficult to dispute this idea: it is quite logical. Evidence, of course, no, but an analogy suggests itself.
We ourselves, I am sure, will create conditions on other planets in the distant future in order for our own life to develop there. More advanced green men could have done the same.
So, the statement that we are genetically aliens has its basis. The level of technology development and the accumulated knowledge do not yet allow us to finally give an answer to the question of our origin. However, there is no reason to reject this option.
