Penza undertakers, taking part in the burial of the relatives of the dead in the same graves, sounded the alarm - the corpses buried years ago do not decompose, but turn into a kind of wax figures.
Scientists are well aware of the process of mummification of corpses in a dry climate and good ventilation, but what the undertakers saw threw them into a shock.
Corpses do not decay for years, turning into the so-called. cadaveric wax is a homogeneous mass, slightly shiny on the cut, resembling solid fat in appearance, emitting almost no smell and melting at high temperatures.

It is these factors that slow down or almost completely stop the process of decaying the flesh of the deceased, turning him into a wax figure that does not smolder in the grave for decades.
