Scientists from Singapore have conducted a scientific study of a fantastic phenomenon - the UFO's pulling beam. As it turned out, such a beam can actually be recreated in laboratory conditions.
Researchers in Singapore have demonstrated a similar tractor beam in a scientific laboratory. During the experiment, scientists used the properties of the previously discovered Bessel beam. Particles of a beam of light scattered peripherally from the direction continue to move forward.
Scientists believe that by changing the direction of radiation, it is possible to control the movement of light particles. Subsequently, they were able to obtain practical confirmation of their theory. The experimenters managed to move small objects using a controlled Bessel beam.
Experts say that the power of light particles is not enough to move heavier objects, such as humans or animals. This circumstance leaves the UFO's tractor beam as a fantastic attribute.
The study of the movement of objects by means of the Bessel beam made it possible to find a practical application of this technology in the medical field, for measuring the tensile force of the cell surface. The difference in cell surface tension helps to distinguish healthy cells from diseased cells.
