The famous Dnepropetrovsk traveler Sergei Gordienko is now in the Crimea. According to his assistant, on November 9, the traveler saw strange phenomena on the water.

At this time, Gordienko was at a safe distance on the rock. He saw how the animal began to curl into a half-ring, and its head was constantly above the water. The maneuvers lasted about 15 minutes.

“Locals say that this creature appears often, destroys dolphins, sometimes people disappear and find torn tents,” says Gordinko.

The "Karadag monster" has long been legendary, local residents accuse the monster of the massive death of dolphins and the disappearance of people. So, in 2011, about 30 dead dolphins were found on the coast between Feodosia and Kerch. According to legend, the monster looks like a huge snake with a head about 50 cm in diameter.

Back in the 90s, it was said that many of the dead dolphins had their ribs bitten off and traces of 16 teeth remained. The first reminder of the monster dates back to the 16th century, but then the serpent was land, it attacked sheep and sucked blood out of them. True, scientists often deny the existence of the monster, calling it legends.

"In the Crimea, alas, dolphins often die, mainly from the propellers of boats, but people have long attributed their death to a mysterious monster," said the Museum of Local Lore of Crimea.
