Russia is now experiencing an abnormally warm winter, but some other parts of the world are much less fortunate. So, in North America at the moment people are suffering from abnormal frosts. Even the coast of the Atlantic Ocean is thoroughly frozen here and covered with a thick layer of ice. Just imagine: you can freely walk and even drive across the ocean hundreds of meters ahead. Would you have the guts for such fun?
Ice and snow drifting so far from the shore create a truly surreal picture. However, some local residents do not lose heart and happily walk on the ice. By turning on the videos below, shot by American Ryan Canty with a quadcopter, you can see this natural wonder with your own eyes. According to Canty, the temperature has dropped to minus 30 degrees Celsius here this winter, although in previous years it was only minus 8. Unfortunately, because of this, at least 13 people have died of cold in the United States over the past 10 days, and that's more excluding the homeless.
Almost the entire east coast suffers from frost and snowfall here. More than 100 million people are experiencing significant difficulties. The cold Arctic cyclone is breaking all records, and the US government's spending on fighting the effects of frost has also surpassed record levels. For example, in Massachusetts, several cities had to be evacuated when the surf flooded their streets, and the water instantly froze. Hospitals work here in an intensive mode due to the widespread and numerous cases of frostbite of citizens.
