A married couple from Australia, who had been married for 70 years, died on the same day. Writes about this Daily Mail.

90-year-old Norma John Platell (Norma June Platell) and 92-year-old Francis Ernest Platell (Francis Ernest Platell) on the night of January 6 were in a nursing home. They were on adjacent beds, close enough to hold hands.

That night, 10 minutes after the next round, the nurse looked into Platella's room and found that both guests had died. Subsequently, even the doctor was unable to determine the exact difference in time of death of both spouses. The same data was indicated in their documents.

Three years ago, the woman was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease, which has progressed greatly. In the last year, she lost all her vitality and practically stopped speaking. Her last words were “my husband”.

Francis did his best to ensure that his wife stayed with him in the house as long as possible, however, despite the help of the nurses, he experienced difficulties in feeding, bathing and watching her every minute. Then the man had to send his wife to a nursing home.

After Norma was placed in one of the houses, he came to her every day and spent every possible time with her. The couple ate lunch together, watched TV on the small sofa in the common room, and held hands the entire time. Norma often fell asleep on her husband's shoulder.

When Francis's health deteriorated significantly, he was placed in the same nursing home where his wife lived. From then until the last day of his life, he was happy to look after his wife again and just be around.
