An international group of psychologists from the UK and Germany named a unique way to memorize information. Scientists say that this optimal method will give a person the ability to long-term memorization of information. The research results are published in the Hippocampus.
Scientists have found that for long-term memorization, a person needs to divide information into blocks, and take breaks of 10 minutes between each of them. At the same time, during rest, in no case should you distract your brain. So, in the break between memorizing information, you can not watch TV, sit on social networks and so on.
In order to prove their theory, scientists conducted an experiment. The researchers invited several volunteers and asked them to memorize all kinds of information. The subjects taught it using the long-term memorization method: between blocks of facts, they took a 10-minute break in an empty, dimly lit room without mobile phones. As a result, they absorbed information better. Even after a week, they remembered 10% more than those who memorized facts by simple memorization.
