Many people claim that they remember being in the womb of their mother, remember the moment of their birth and, in the most rare cases, remember themselves in some other reality, before entering the mother's womb.

It is difficult to prove the existence of such things, however, as it turned out, for many people this experience is quite real.

Elizabeth Hallett, a registered nurse with a degree in psychology, has written an entire book called Stories of the Unborn Soul: The Secret and Beauty of Life Before Birth.

In her book, she writes that we don't often hear stories about prenatal memories, because people are afraid to admit things that are at odds with generally accepted concepts. According to one woman, she did not talk about it for fear of sounding crazy.

The boy remembers the song that sounded on the way to the hospital

On one site, a certain Nicole I. told the story of a student named Michael. Nicole and Michael's mother, who died when he was just a few months old, were friends. Nicole witnessed the birth of a boy, she took her friend, a single mother, to the hospital. After the death of the woman, Nicole did not communicate with Michael and his family until he became her student. They hardly talked about his mother, but the boy knew they were friends.

When the students were asked to recall their earliest memories, Michael raised his hand and fully described the path to the hospital as Nicole drove his pregnant mother there. He said that they were driving in her gray car and even remembered the words of the song that was playing then, he also remembered that Nicole stopped at a gas station to ask for directions, remembered that she used a pay phone in the hospital and that he took someone lying at the front desk and put on a sweater.

It was all true

Nicole did have a gray car at the time, which she sold a couple of years after Michael was born. The words of the song that the boy remembered absolutely coincided with the song that Nicole often listened to while driving.

Then they drove to the nearest rural hospital and got lost on the way, Nicole really stopped at a gas station to ask for directions. The hospital had no cell phone service and she had to use a pay phone. For the story with the sweater, she was terribly ashamed: she was very cold and put on someone's sweater, which was lying in the emergency room. Nobody saw it. She never told anyone about it.

Like waking up from anesthesia

A man named Michael Maguire told Hallett that he felt like waking up from anesthesia:

“I clearly remember myself in a state of an ethereal spirit, and then on Earth, in the body of a child. It's a bit like an operation. First you are on the operating table and count from ten to one, and the next moment you are in the ward. The main difference is that both before and after the operation you seem to be in a dream, but in my case, the thoughts were absolutely clear."

Memories of difficult childbirth

A woman named Joel confessed to Hallett that when she was in her thirties, her aunt told her about the difficulties her mother had during childbirth. Mom never talked about it. After telling her aunt, the memories Joel had had, it seemed, from the moment she was born, began to make sense.

According to the aunt's story, the birth was unexpected and had to be taken at home. The girl seemed completely lifeless. Aunt took her little body to the next room, thinking she was dead. However, the midwife who finally came was able to bring the girl to her senses.

Joel remembers that she was in some indescribable place: “It's very quiet and there are many different people around. We are all - as it were, one whole, not men, not women. I can see it in my mind, but I cannot describe it. There are no voices, but I can distinguish words. Someone tells me that it is too early to give up life, that if I want to live, I have to go right now. I remember that I hesitate and hear another voice that says that you can wait a little longer. But I can’t wait any longer, I must return. Someone says: decide right now."

This auntie looked after me before I was born

This story was published on one of the sites dedicated to this topic: “A colleague of mine told me a story about his four-year-old daughter. He and his wife took their daughter on a tour, where she saw a statue of the Virgin Mary. My daughter pointed to the statue and said: “Dad, I know her! This auntie looked after me before I was born!"

Linda Parrino shared her story on the forum:

“I remember floating on a cloud. There were many blue and pink clouds around me. I was completely calm and heard the voice of a woman, but did not see her. She spoke very softly, this conversation was more like communicating with herself. I remember she said that it was time for me to go to Earth and be born. I replied that I wanted to stay here, safe. She said that I must go and that everything will be fine with me. These are my very first memories, and my life is really very happy."
