During my 22 years of work for over 500 companies, I have tried to understand the factors that lead to success in a particular business. Once I understood, I strove to learn how to apply these principles to achieve the best results.
When people speak flatteringly about my successes, I willingly share what I know with them. I tell them that they, too, are able to learn everything that is necessary to achieve their goals. All that is required of them is to understand the cause-and-effect relationships of certain actions, and then start applying them at the right time. By doing this, they will get the same results in speed as other successful people.
But instead of following my advice, they tend to nod, smile, agree, and then return to their daily lives. At the same time, they begin to work intensively at the end of the working day, spending most of it on idle conversations with employees. They tend to leave home at the first opportunity, spending evenings in entertainment or in front of the TV.
Struck by this kind of behavior, I began to study psychology and metaphysics. As time went on, I learned about a number of universal principles that explain most of human success and failure. These principles define happiness and unhappiness, wealth and poverty, health and disease, and various relationships between people. These psychic laws provide an explanation for why some people can be happy and others not.
Control law
The first law that I discovered is the law of control. It reads: “You feel happy to the extent that you control your life. You feel unhappy to the extent that you do not control your life."
In our time in psychology, this is called the "locus of control theory." Locus of control - the tendency to attribute one's successes or failures to internal or external factors (internal and external loci of control). Your locus of control is where you feel control in every area of your life. Its location determines your happiness or unhappiness more than any other factor.

For example, you feel that you are the main creator of your life, and everything that happens to you is determined only by your behavior. Then you have a very strong inner locus of control that helps you feel strong, confident, and happy. It is he who makes your thoughts clearer, and your work more effective than that of an ordinary person.
Or maybe other factors or people control your life - your job, boss, government, bills, people you deal with, family members, etc. In this case, you have developed an external locus of control that makes you feel like a victim, a toy in the hands of Providence. Pretty soon, you develop what Dr. M. Seligman of the University of Pennsylvania called "learned helplessness." You begin to feel completely unable to change your position for the better. You get into the habit of blaming others for everything and always making excuses for your failures. This type of thinking will inevitably lead to resentment, despair and ruin.
The power of faith
The next law I discovered is the law of faith. It is on it that most religions are based, as well as sciences such as psychology, philosophy and metaphysics. According to this law: "Everything that you firmly believe in becomes reality for you."
In the New Testament, Jesus said, "According to your faith, be it unto you." The Old Testament says: "As a person thinks in his heart (in his faith), such he is." Harvard professor W. James wrote in 1905: "Faith creates a real fact."
In reality, you do not believe in what you see, but rather, you see what you already believe in. Faith deep in you creates a screen of prejudice that distorts outer reality. He forces you to see things not as they are, but as you are.
The worst thing here is when a person believes in their limitations. This, usually, false belief is developed throughout life and makes a person think that he will never be able to carry out his plans. These thoughts soon become familiar. You begin to believe that you lack intelligence, talent, fortitude, the ability to speak in public, make good money, lose weight, etc. As a result, you begin to value yourself too low and give in to difficulties. Even worse, you start telling other people that you lack certain qualities or abilities. And now, your beliefs become your reality. You become not who you are, but who you think you are.
One of the more important steps in developing habits is overcoming the beliefs that limit you. First of all, you need to imagine that there are no restrictions for you. When you prepare your mind for the right thoughts and unconditionally believe that you can do absolutely anything, you can do it in reality. As a result, your whole previous life will change dramatically.
Changing beliefs is the hardest part. The good news, however, is that beliefs can be acquired. And from everything that is possible to acquire, it is possible to get rid of. You can convince yourself of the courage, confidence, and irrepressible determination you need to succeed. To do this, you just need to properly reprogram your subconscious.
Self-fulfilling forecast
Another law that I discovered is the law of expectations. It reads: "What you expect with complete confidence, it will definitely come true." In other words, you do not necessarily get what you want, but you do get what you expect.
When you expect something to happen with absolute certainty, it has a huge impact on your character and your personality. The more confident you are in your expectations, the more likely it is that your words and actions will be associated with them. As a result, you will greatly increase your chances of getting exactly what you expect.
One of the great things about expectations is complete freedom of action. When you wake up in the morning, you can say to yourself, "I believe that something amazing will happen to me today." By doing this, you create a force field of expectation that surrounds you, influencing the people with whom you communicate. And in some incomprehensible way, a number of amazing events, both large and small, take place with you on this day.
A successful person expects in advance that success will come to him. A happy person expects happiness. The popular expects others to be interested in him. These people develop the habit of taking any situation positively. They expect benefits from everything that happens to them, even from temporary problems and setbacks. They expect only the best from other people and think only of the good. Moreover, it should be noted that they are rarely disappointed.
The exact opposite of these expectations is negative expectations, which is typical for most people. Unhappy people expect failure more often than success. They are always ready for the fact that other people will harm them or disappoint them. They expect that they will not be very lucky in business. Instead of hoping for the best, they are already prepared for the worst, and because the law of expectations is neutral, they also rarely get disappointed and get the expected problems.
How is it possible to ensure a happy, healthy and prosperous life for yourself? It is very important to expect the best from every person and every situation, no matter how they may seem at first. Develop a habit of positive expectations. You will be simply amazed at the impact it will have on you and the people around you.
You are a living magnet
After the laws described above, I learned about the law of attraction. According to him: “You are a living magnet; you invariably attract people, ideas and circumstances that are in harmony with your core thoughts."
This law has been spoken and written about for about 5000 years. It is one of the most important principles that determine success or failure. This law implies that your positive or negative emotions activate certain thoughts. These thoughts create a force field around you, which, like iron to a magnet, attracts people and circumstances in harmony with them to you.
Like all psychic laws, this law is neutral. If you think about something good, you begin to attract positive people and circumstances. If you have negative thoughts, the attracted people and circumstances will also be negative. Successful, happy people constantly think and talk about what they want to attract into their lives. The unsuccessful and unhappy constantly talk about people and situations that cause them anger and frustration.
One of the main habits in this regard is the habit of filling your consciousness with positive pictures of your life and the world around you. It is quite difficult to develop it, but the return on it is simply colossal.
As it comes around, it will respond
The final result for all the above laws is the law of conformity. It reads: "Your outer world is an accurate reflection of your inner world."
Imagine that you live surrounded by mirrors. Wherever you look, your reflection is everywhere. People treat you the way you treat them. The way you think about your body is reflected in your health and your appearance. The quality of your friendship and family life depends on how you see people and your relationship with them. The way you think about success and prosperity is reflected in your career and well-being. In each case, your outer world reflects yourself, as in a mirror, and you always get what you think about in the secluded corners of your consciousness.
Combining all the above laws will give you a great universal principle that unites everything that happens to you: "You get what you think about most of the time."
Think about it! You will be exactly the person you imagine yourself to be most of the time. You are always moving in the direction given by your main thoughts. Everything in the world around you is controlled and determined by what you think within yourself.
The good news is that there is one thing in the universe that you have complete control over, and that is your consciousness. It's up to you to decide what you think about most of the time. And luckily, you don't need any other control to shape your life and shape your future. By taking complete control of your mind, you can easily direct the course of your life. This kind of control will make you feel happy, strong, confident, and free. You will simply be impossible to stop.
