There are so many unknowns in the world and so many mysteries of ancient civilizations that a lifetime is not enough to tell about all the wonders of the world. I already talked about the civilizations of the Atlanteans and Asuras, about the mysterious Anunnaki from the planet Nibiru and about the Garamants, whose civilization was mercilessly swallowed up by the sands of time and now we can only fantasize about the events of the past. But nothing is forgotten and no one is forgotten … There are people in the world who bear the burden of enlightenment and talk about the amazing places of our planet.

One of the most amazing places on Earth is called the Thirteen Towers of Chanquillo. It is an ancient complex, which used to perform mysterious rituals and ceremonies, and is located in the Ancash department in Peru. In general, Peru is a rather amazing country, which has preserved the greatness of ancient civilizations. 13 towers have been perfectly preserved to this day, and each of them has a staircase. If you look at the towers from afar, it is like a giant dinosaur spread its bones on the endless sand. The towers themselves have different heights, but the distance between them was chosen quite accurately and equally, which makes these places even more mysterious.

At first, historians and archaeologists assumed that this was just a military fortification. but then they abandoned this theory, it was too ridiculous. Later, another theory was put forward, which is more consistent with what is in Chanquillo. Most likely, this object was a kind of solar observatory and a place of worship of the gods.

In winter, the sun is located to the right of the outer tower, in summer it is on the left, and between winter and summer, the sun's rays penetrate from the battlements of the towers. The towers cast shadows at different times of the day, which further confirms the possible hypothesis of an ancient solar observatory. But where could the ancient people get such knowledge? And why exactly 13 towers? It remains a mystery and it is not known whether we will ever be able to solve it.
