He who knows how to manage others is strong. He who knows how to manage himself is even stronger …

I used to think that willpower is constant. That it is given at the moment of birth and accompanies our life unchanged. Someone is lucky and his willpower allows him to work practically miracles. It is not difficult for such people to repeatedly change their lives at the root and go towards their goal without noticing obstacles. I have always considered myself a completely limp character. I could only move mountains in no time if it didn’t touch my comfort zone.

It was much easier for me to influence another person and persuade him to perform the tasks I needed, than to force myself to do what I did not want. And even worse, not doing what you want to do. I could not imagine what torments people feel when they decide, for example, to quit smoking overnight. I ground one and a half packs a day and told myself that I would definitely give up, only, probably, in my next life. I was not happy with my daily routine, my food, my unwillingness to play sports. I planned to change all this sometime … Most likely tomorrow … Well, at most, on Monday.

With a special fad, I highlighted my plans about the fact that someday I will definitely start writing. From the age of eighteen, I have been constantly changing the plot of my book and working on the characters in my head. But for some reason I haven't written a single page in ten years.

I gave the body what it required. Is always. Even if it was dangerous to health or even illegal. More often than not, it was both dangerous and illegal at the same time. Closer to the age of thirty, I came to terms with this state of affairs and came to the conclusion that I have no willpower at all. I was angry with myself. I began to perceive my body as something separate from me. I saw in myself a small child who constantly wants to stick his fingers in the socket or stay up until midnight. Against this background, I developed a sense of self-irony, as well as cynicism and a certain disgust towards myself. Realizing that there was no strength to deny the desires of my body, I began to indulge all its whims with particular persistence. Do you want a cigarette? Get two! Too lazy to get up and go to work on time? Don't go at all! Would you like to have a couple of cocktails again? You have a liter of rum on you! Just calm down!Get everything you want and take it easy!

It was as if my mind had separated from my body. I saw myself from the outside, or rather from the inside. I felt my consciousness locked in a physical shell, which is not interested in anything other than satisfying carnal desires. I even stopped hating myself for it, but only joked and every time I easily gave myself everything that was possible and impossible. And that, I tell you, was a hell of a fun experience.

I understood that this marathon of mine was not for long. I knew that the body could not stand it for a long time, but I was not afraid of death, and even waited for it. The only thing I wanted was to keep my mind clear to the end. I did not care at all about the opinions of others and I loved to throw them into shock with another recklessness. Under the mask of raging permissiveness, there was a calm understanding of what was happening. I liked being honest with myself first of all. After I stopped comforting myself with the thoughts of how tomorrow I will change everything radically, it became easier for me. I accepted myself as I was. I said to myself - even if this life turned out to be a little crumpled, but then we had some fun.

I firmly knew that I would have more chances, as I believed in the immortality of the soul. I didn't want to waste time in this rebellious body.

Promotional video:

“Well, let everything be over as soon as possible,” I said to myself, “and let's proceed to the next stage. Already after all a little is left. The main thing is not to be afraid."

This went on for a couple or three years especially full of troubles and adventures. And then overnight everything changed. Somehow I woke up, and next to me sat willpower. My willpower. I just felt that she was near and heard her voice in my head: “Well, are you tired? Do you want to try it differently?"

Willpower has never been a part of me, nor has it become me. She is like an invisible magical force - she became my companion and helper, friend and advisor. But that's not me. If earlier I saw two personalities in myself - an analytical mind and a violent "body", now suddenly there are three of us. A bit like a schizophrenic's notes … 8)

Intuitively, I considered the willpower that appeared as a gift of the spirit and accepted it with gratitude. A lot has changed, but I stayed the same. It's just that someone put the ability to control everything into my hands. Perhaps this is the most curious thing that happened to me. It was sheer magic. Another proof of his existence and participation in my life.

Willpower is essentially the only tool for controlling physical reality. We want to raise our hand, get up from a chair or have a cup of coffee - all this cannot be done without an effort of our will. Will is the link that connects thought and action. Willpower is not a weapon of self-torture, not a willingness to sacrifice one's desires for a higher goal, not a torture tool. Willpower is an adamant determination to accomplish something that is planned. And she possesses true power when, under her control, the organism performs any action without "I do not want". The physical body itself does not have the ability to think, it also cannot resist action. If the body is a car and the brain is a navigator, then will is the driver of the car. When we get behind the wheel for the first time and try to move, we will certainly "stall". However, after a month or two we no longer hesitate to go where we want, and even while talking on the phone.

As soon as our brain generates another thought in our head, it is essentially only ideas - an electrical impulse, and whether it will have the opportunity to turn into reality depends on our willpower. The will creates in the head a picture of the reality of the conceived idea and perceives the desired image as a fait accompli, despite the fact that the body may not have even begun to carry out the task at hand.

This is actually incredibly curious. Will - creates reality in our imagination even before something becomes reality. If you still think that willpower is just the degree to which a person is willing to sacrifice himself, then you are mistaken. When willpower works, there is no question of any sacrifice. The body takes what is happening for granted and does not experience any discomfort.

So, willpower has its own stages of development. The first one is elementary - owning your body at the everyday level. The second - more difficult - is the ability to control all areas of your life - thoughts and actions. The third is control over other people. It is possible to rise to the third step only if the first two are perfectly mastered.

Have you ever tried reading something about "How to Master Hypnosis"? Not? Open any book on this topic. You will not find there step-by-step instructions from the series - "Approach the subject and in a monotonous voice begin to pronounce the following words …." There will be no drawing for making a pendulum at home. The whole book will be devoted to how the future hypnotist must learn to control himself and his will. The first necessary conditions - the hypnotist should not smoke, drink and generally have any bad habits. If they are - this is even better - during the period of mastering the mastery of hypnosis, the student will have the opportunity to practice his will and remove from his life everything that prevents him from being who he wants to be. If there are no unnecessary habits at the start of learning, then you need to come up with any habit for yourself and steadily monitor its implementation. It can be anything - even a daily walk. Easy at first glance? Only here it should be remembered that no fact can cancel this action and it should be performed at the same time, despite bad weather, illness or even natural disaster.

Such exercises will develop the coherence of the joint work of will and body. The body will begin to perceive commands given by the will as an unyielding intention and will strive to automatically execute them. The wall called “I can’t / I don’t want / I won’t” will gradually disappear.

The next step is to curb thoughts. The future hypnotist should radiate calmness and be able to control his emotions. And in no case should it be a mask of poise. The hypnotist must become her. He must believe in what he thinks, does and says. Faith in this case is not something like a hope that what is happening is reality, but rather a conviction in one's intentions, accepting them as an accomplished fact. Any intended action must be carried out with an unyielding intention - will. And then the will can become an instrument for creating the physical world around you. Do you want to learn how to manage others? Begin with yourself! This is how any textbook on hypnosis can be described in a nutshell.

Only those who have successfully coped with the first stage can begin to master the next stage - the ability to control other people. The principle is the same - to learn to perceive your own voice commands as true. In no case should you command with reliable success, namely, to be sure that what is said is already reality only because you have said it aloud with your will applied to the speech. It is in your head that doubts and fears about failure should not arise. The word you said should become reality at the moment when it just leaves your lips. And when you believe in the power of your will as an instrument for creating the world, hypnosis will become subservient to you.

And then - even more interesting! If self-improvement and even hypnosis is something more or less accessible for understanding and mastering in practice, then such a phenomenon as managing events and matter is pure magic. Yes Yes! It is magic! 8) Ever curious about the beginner's guide? I'm not talking about pseudo-literature of such a plan, in which literally from the first page you are offered to go in search of the blood of a virgin by first drawing a pentagram in the living room with a frog's paw. I'm talking about the small number of literature in which we are talking about magic as a philosophy in the first place. The method of becoming magicians is similar to the practice of hypnosis and willpower is again the most important tool for creation. Yes, for the full effect with any magical passes, you must of course also take into account the location of the stars, the moon, time of day, own food and even daily routine. However, these are just catalysts to help you get things done. The main factor is will. Unbending confidence in the reality of what is happening.

Thoughts are material … This statement is not entirely true. Only a thought spiced with willpower is the true reality. It is the will that mixes a cocktail of elementary physical particles and electrical impulses - thoughts, thus creating the surrounding reality. And the possibilities of will are endless. Everything that seems impossible to us is, in fact, just a wall separating desire and reality. And this wall exists only because the will works on building it with much greater zeal than striving to destroy it.

If you are not interested in the enslavement of the world through hypnosis, and you find magic a prejudice of the past, study yoga. Yoga is self-improvement, the ability to manage yourself, your thoughts, body and actions. As a result - the ability to manage others and the surrounding reality. Yogis who have achieved a high degree of mastery in their art have access to such tricks as walking on coals, sitting on nails, stopping their own heart, holding their breath, and even levitation. And the point here is not at all that they can endure such overloads or endure pain. They know how to turn off pain, stop the beating of the heart, bypass the laws of gravity with the help of one tool - will. You cannot find yourself - you can only create yourself …
