In the second largest city in Zimbabwe - Bulawayo - a strange incident occurred: an unknown creature scared the police so much that they began to jump out of windows.
According to the Mirror tabloid, a family living in the city of Bulawayo brought a suitcase to the police station and said that the unknown creature in it belonged to the tenant. Curious law enforcement officers immediately gathered around the case and began to discuss its contents. After a short discussion, they decided to open the suitcase and see what had so frightened the visitors.
According to one of the eyewitnesses, as soon as the police opened the locks, a disgusting creature jumped out of a bottle filled with blood. The unexpected appearance of the monster had such a strong impression on the Africans that they behaved in an inappropriate way for the police - they raised a hysterical cry and began to throw themselves out of the windows.
An employee present at the scene agreed to describe the incident with the "goblin" on condition that Bulawayo 24 News kept his identity secret.
“First, everyone gathered around the suitcase to see who was sitting there. Nobody gave a signal to open - everything happened somehow spontaneously. My colleagues and I did not take part in this, but, hearing their cries, we ran to see what was happening,”he recalls. - But not even a minute passed, as the site was empty - everyone just ran away. Some people had to jump out of the windows, as not everyone managed to get to the front door. The fat and skinny policemen ran away with heartbreaking screams.
The men present at the opening of the suitcase described the goblin in different ways. So, some argued that the creature looked like a snake with a dog's head, others talked about a creature resembling a dog covered in scales. But they all agreed on one thing: the unknown creature smelled disgusting.
The first one who managed to pull himself together was a healer who came with his family. According to eyewitnesses, he defeated a goblin and burned him. Bulawayo's assistant chief of police - Bhekimpilo Ndlovu - has officially confirmed that the incident with the terrible creature did take place.
