The space agency NASA recently published the results of some scientific research that was carried out on the Guadalupe Icon of the Mother of God.
The results of an ophthalmological examination of the icon's eyes were a sensation. When light approached the eye of the Virgin Mary, the retina narrowed, and when removed, it expanded. Only a living being has such an eye reaction.
In addition, the scientists drew attention to the fact that the temperature of the fabric from the image of the image of the Virgin Mary is 36.6 degrees, i.e. body temperature of a healthy person. When listening to the icon with a stethoscope, a palpable pulse was found - about 115 beats per minute, which corresponds to the pulse of a child in the womb.
Based on the research data of NASA specialists, it was concluded that the paints used in painting icons do not have an earthly origin.
At the beginning of the twentieth century, a bomb was planted near the icon of the Mother of God, the destructive power of which had a significant radius of action. However, after the explosion, when everything around was destroyed, the icon was not damaged. An interesting fact is that the hands of the Virgin Mary differ from one another: the right one is slightly lighter, and the left one is dark, this can be a symbol of unity between the races.
