Unusual things happened recently in a hamlet near the city of Vaspam in Nicaragua. Several local residents fell victim to seizures during which they said they saw the devil. Other symptoms included headaches, nausea, and intense feelings of anxiety.
The strangest thing was that when another person fell into an uncontrollable "possessed" state, he called the name of another person, who soon also became a victim of seizures.
The reason was a children's doll with incomprehensible signs in the form of crosses, found on the side of the village road. Residents were sure that this was a witchcraft doll, in which evil spirits were present.
According to the residents, a magic doll was made and planted by a man considered an outcast in the village. He did it as revenge. The doll was soon burned (and they were afraid to touch it with their hands and carried it with the help of sticks), but the villagers still live in fear.
The video, published by the British tabloid Daily Mail, shows a woman writhing in obsession, held by several people. The victim's hands and feet are tied. Another injured young man is moistened with water.
