“I myself observed this creature on Saturday evening April 7, 2018. But this story began a couple of months earlier, when it was still winter. I live on the west coast of Canada on Vancouver Island, British Columbia. There was snow on the ground that evening and the sun had already set, but it was not yet very dark.
Me, my boyfriend, my sister and her boyfriend were in the yard of our house. We went out to play in the snow on purpose, it rarely snows here in winter.
We stood and chatted merrily. Suddenly my sister fell silent, and then said that someone was standing nearby behind a tree. She went there and then quickly came back and called us into the house. She looked terrified. When we all entered, she said that there was a large winged humanoid creature of black color sitting behind a tree.
It sat hunched over and its wings were folded behind its back. The creature was watching us, but when my sister approached him, he turned his face in the other direction, and then he himself moved somewhere further behind the tree and disappeared.
Of course, we didn't believe my sister. At first we laughed, thinking it was a joke. But then, seeing that she was serious, they said that she probably saw a large crow or other large bird, or maybe even a shadow from the branches. But my sister looked scared for a while.
And last Saturday, April 7, I saw this creature myself. At the same time, in our house there were the same faces again (me, my sister, her boyfriend and my boyfriend). We were having fun in my room and then decided to smoke, and for this we had to go out onto the terrace overlooking the backyard.

I looked in the same direction and managed to see how something black and large took off from the tree and disappeared behind other trees. It flew through the air for a couple of seconds. I am sure that it was larger than any eagle in size, especially since I had something to compare with, eagles flew to us more than once.
This creature had a wingspan of over 4 meters. And it was completely black from head to toe. We screamed, but when my sister and her boyfriend came running, they found only the twitching branches of a tree.
I began to tell them that this creature looked like a winged man, and then my sister started hysterical and she remembered seeing the same creature in winter and also in our backyard. And we already forgot about that episode, but after that I believed her.
My boyfriend also thinks that something looked like a winged man, but he doesn't believe in the existence of such creatures and still assumes that it is just a large bird and that the eyes can deceive.
It is difficult to say what this creature looked like, but its feathers on the wings looked like an eagle, but were very large, and in appearance it was something like a gargoyle-man or a moth-man."
