Although no country in the world officially admits that it possesses geophysical weapons, one thing is indisputable - these weapons exist and have incredible overwhelming power. At the same time, its application cannot be fully controlled due to insufficient depth of human knowledge. Therefore, having once used this superweapon, a person can open a real Pandora's box, which will release such forces and energies that will simply destroy the planet. Nevertheless, the wars of the future are associated with such developments.
Considering geophysical weapons, one cannot fail to mention its less well-known, but extremely destructive varieties. One of them is a hydrosphere weapon, which involves the use of hydrosphere energy for military purposes. The hydrosphere is a collection of oceans, seas, lakes and rivers. In order to use the energy of the hydrosphere for combat purposes, it is theoretically possible to exert influence on the oceans, seas, rivers, lakes, as well as hydraulic structures using both nuclear devices and conventional high-power charges. In this case, the energy of the damaging factors of hydrospheric weapons will be concentrated in storms, tsunamis, mud flows, floods and avalanches of overwhelming force.
Biosphere weapon
The biosphere weapon [1] is based on the principle of influencing the biosphere in such a way as to cause catastrophic changes in it. Already now there are means of chemical and biological origin, in the case of the use of which on vast territories, the vegetation cover, the fertile soil layer, as well as food supplies will be destroyed. Artificially initiated soil erosion and plant death will lead to irreversible damage to flora and fauna. As a result of the use of various chemicals, incendiary weapons can, in particular, lead to catastrophic changes in the biosphere and, ultimately, to massive destruction of people.
Ozone weapon
The principle of operation of ozone weapons is based on the use of ultraviolet energy emitted by the sun. The ozone layer screens this radiation, lethal for all living things. If the ozone layer over the enemy's territory is partially destroyed by artificially creating temporary "holes" in the protective ozone layer, the effect of a microwave oven will be created, which, of course, will lead to severe damage to the population, animals and plants in the planned zone of the Earth due to gigantic doses of ultraviolet radiation and other hard radiation from space.
