At the same time, with the current, so-called, tolerance, it is not so much about research as about how bad and ugly it is to make sure that the intelligence of people is different.
This approach with hypocritical tolerance will only hinder research, including intelligence. This situation is reminiscent of the situation with genetics in the USSR, when it was declared a pseudoscience and was not allowed to develop.
Why rush about with intellect as with a written sack and make it a sign of isolation, almost caste? Intelligence is the same adaptive function of the body, like everything else: here is the color of the skin, and the shape of the eyes, and endurance in relation to heat or cold, and fertility, and everything that a person possesses. No one considers it offensive to the nation and people that the fertility of one or another is less or more than that of others.
In astronomy there is such a concept - the habitable zone. These are the areas of space in which there are conditions for the origin of life. It should be neither cold nor hot, neither close nor far from the star, and there are a lot of factors. So on Earth there are zones in which the development of intelligence is possible and necessary for human living. And there are zones where a person has no time for intelligence, because he just needs to survive. This is the extreme North, deserts, mountains. And there are zones in which the intelligence for living is not so necessary: all sorts of tropics, where there is enough food, there is no need for clothes and building houses, but you need the ability to run well, hear and see, so that you are not eaten by predators, and have immunity against varied and numerous blood-sucking rubbish. And what is interesting,what to do for a white intellectual with the ability to solve integral differential equations in the jungle or desert? By the way, apparently, the impetus for the development of intelligence was given to everyone equally (without delving into the nature of this impulse: either Atlanteans, or aliens, or some cunningly wise mutation), because the most ancient civilizations now known appeared on the territory of the present Iraq and Egypt, the last of which, by the way, in Africa.
And as a European hallmark, like a bogeyman, the ability to drink milk in highly intelligent whites in adulthood is shaking, unlike all other Asians. And again it is forgotten that in the northern regions milk lasts longer and does not sour. And besides, adult Indians like many Africans drink raw milk perfectly. In Africa, there are ethnic groups that isolate girls for a couple of months before the wedding and solder them with milk to give it a "marketable" appearance, ie. she should put on a couple of tens of kilograms. And in the same Africa, aborigines refused to sell milk to white because the latter boiled it. And this, in the opinion of the sellers, has a detrimental effect on the cow from which this milk was milked.
It seems that someone or something with such a possibility, but clearly not God or the Absolute of objective idealism, set up an experiment to develop civilizations. How these civilizations developed there, the author does not encroach on the analysis of such a global scale, but the result, with some approximation, we can all observe. There is a technogenic civilization and civilizations inclined towards relative harmony with nature.
And judging by the Mahabharata, for some time the experimenters tracked the results, and the overly overplayed techies were painfully punished (one example is Mohenjo-Daro). Maybe, having information about this, the Indian civilization slowed down its own progress: well, I can't believe at all that they could not create the same wheel, especially since before Columbus the Vikings sailed to America, and the Chinese were there, anyway a wheel would adopted (there is even a story of one of the science fiction writers about how society after the apocalypse destroyed everyone who invented something, and the boy, having made the wheel, had to be executed, but his grandfather said that he made it, dooming himself to death, when this averting trouble from the grandson). True, this inhibition became dear to them, it seems that the experimenters either disappeared, or, having understood something for themselves, abandoned everything as it is. Because the current environmental disasters, planetary pollution and overpopulation cannot be explained by any evolutionary theories and divine designs.
How and why the implementation of this or that development program took place is also another question. After all, there are still lullabies (without tolerance, primitive) civilizations that deliberately reject all the benefits of our time. Or why did the Indians accumulate gold obsessively? After all, apparently, not having a wheel and "transport" cattle (horses or camels, despite the fact that you don't carry too many llamas), they did not have sufficient mobility and connections between cities. That is, as a means of payment for trade, so much gold was not strong and needed, because trade was clearly very sluggish. Moreover, being able to build pyramids and carve cities in the rocks (for example, Machu Picchu), the Indians did not strongly "shape" the surrounding landscape, and if the latter was depleted, they were torn down by a camp and moved to another place,allowing nature to heal their wounds. And at the same time it was necessary, among other things, to drag almost all the gold on myself. There was a time when in Muslim countries women were forced to constantly carry on themselves kilograms of gold. But this was due to the fact that at any moment her husband could say to her: "Talah-Talah-Talah", which meant: "Get out!", And she had to leave only with what was on her at that moment … And to be accepted by her relatives, motivation was required, which gold served. Of course, there are still communities of people with very uncomfortable, from the point of view of a modern person, traditions. In Africa, there is a tribe in which women have their lips stretched and a plate inserted into it. In Asia, in one of the nationalities, women are stretched out the swan's neck. But, firstly, it is not widespread and continental,as in the civilizations of the Indians, secondly, these tribes are quite isolated and, most likely, in this way, they identify themselves, trying to escape from assimilation. As for the methods, one of the options for their appearance may be the following. For example, in Africa, thus, the tribe escaped from slavery, because not very beautiful women with obvious ugliness by their own and neighboring leaders were not offered to white slave traders. I hope no one thinks that the whites themselves caught the locals in the jungle, in which they would not only catch someone, but even could not survive. In Asia, the leaders of the “swan-necked” community accumulated mutations due to isolation and daughters with weak necks could be born, and in order to strengthen them, they began to wear rings and put them on. And to make children comfortable, others were also obliged to wear such jewelry. Well, in the future, the root cause was forgotten, the necks began to stretch more and more, especially since none of the neighbors would even covet such beauty, since one has to get used to it from childhood.

And researchers and scientists should not engage in all sorts of political somersaults with newfangled tolerances, which, by the way, are more offensive than the recognition of differences between races. And calmly go about your work, without making cheap sensations out of banal research.
