According to scientists, a new zirconium fabric can protect a person from dangerous effects (as experiments have shown, it independently neutralizes some of the dangerous substances).

Officially, chemical weapons are illegal today. On April 29, 1997, 190 states signed the convention "On the prohibition of storage, production and development of poisonous substances of mass destruction." According to this document, by July 2010, about 60% of all stocks of already available drugs were destroyed, and all military chemical production facilities in the world were taken under strict control.

This is where a reasonable question arises: if such a threat really does not exist, then why is the US military spending millions of dollars on the development of chemical weapons? Maybe we don't know something? What are they preparing for and what are they hiding?

Researchers at the University of North Carolina have learned how to turn any polypropylene clothing into a shield against chemical weapons. They have developed a technology for growing a protective coating directly on the surface of the fabric.

Scientists have already tested their invention with nerve gas. The protective fabric completely neutralized the toxic substance in just 5 minutes. In the future, it will be possible to sew military uniforms and overalls from such material for liquidators of the consequences of technological disasters.

Since 1997, the use of chemical weapons has been banned. According to official data, by October 2017, all reserves in Russia were completely destroyed. America is reporting the same about the complete destruction of hazardous substances, but at the same time American scientists are actively working to create protection from deadly gases.

According to military experts, despite the ruling of an international convention, chemical weapons will be produced and used, and first of all, terrorists will do this (it is no coincidence that it is called the weapon of the poor). It is cheap to manufacture and efficient at the same time.

Russian scientists have surpassed their American colleagues. Chemists from Saratov State University have created a fabric capable of protecting the military not only from chemical, but also from biological weapons. Prototypes of suits for the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Internal Affairs have already been made.

The equipment is covered with a special membrane, which, due to the structure of nanofibers, does not allow water, viruses, bacteria, toxins and various allergens to pass through, while the fabric does not interfere with air circulation.

Preparations for the serial production of nanotissue are already in full swing and it is quite possible that Russia will become the first exporter of the new technology.
