Scientists from Japan conducted a study that made it possible to decipher the images that a person dreams of. Using a tomograph, specialists can read dreams.
Scientists set out to learn how to read dreams that a person sees. For this, a study was conducted that lasted several weeks. It involved 140 volunteers who were supposed to sleep in a tomograph. Researchers monitored changes in brain activity during sleep, and after the participant woke up, they asked about what kind of dream he had.
In total, scientists were able to collect data on 200 dreams, which made it possible to compose keywords that indicate the nature of dreams. Before the volunteer woke up, he was told the key word, and then the brain activity was monitored, which made it possible to determine what the participant was dreaming. Experts report that they are 80% confident in the effectiveness of this method. The tomograph clearly demonstrated brain activity after a person heard a keyword. Activity mapping made it possible to read a person's dreams.
