A huge ridge in Antarctica, conceals, in its depths, something very mysterious. Belgium is a mountain range in Antarctica. Located in the eastern part of Queen Maud Land, 300 kilometers from the coast of the Riiser-Larsen Sea. The highest point on the ridge is Mount Victor (2590 meters). The ridge was discovered by the Belgian Antarctic Expedition in 1899.
The place is poorly explored. There have never been permanent settlements or camps here. However, tourists come there. So on Google Earth there are a couple of photos of this ridge. However, no one wandered too far there. This is Antarctica. And jokes with her are always dangerous. We arrived by plane (as a rule, this is an old Douglas C-4), went skiing, took photos and flew away. By the way, on the ridge there is the wreckage of one crashed plane. How he got there when he crashed and how many people died there, I do not know. Nothing was found.
But the location at the coordinates: -72.585868 °, 31.313881 ° (degrees with decimal places) aroused my great interest. At first I thought it was just a shadow and didn't pay much attention to it. But then, comparing the pictures, I realized that it was not a shadow. On the side of the mountain lies something incomprehensible. Huge in size (hundreds of meters). Something more like a mythical starship from the movie "Alien". Remember his very first episode? When does a transport ship find an ancient starship with an incomprehensible life form on a desert planet? Snapshot on Google Erath 2009. There is nothing to compare with, therefore it is impossible to say something definite. In the 1999 picture, there is something in this place too. Why the tourists did not notice him, I cannot say. Maybe because they just did not go there? I do not know. What do you think it is? Maybe, that there is nothing special there. And maybe there is something there that we have never seen. So that one mystery on Earth has become even more.
As a fantasy, I liked the idea that the numerous series of "Aliens" telling about Antarctica and mysterious monsters from outer space may turn out to be more real than in the film itself. Just imagine what kind of problems humanity will have if someone gets to this starship. Well, if there isn't a starship, then I can't even dream up. It is very difficult to understand what lies there. Maybe you can do better?
