Scientists from China made an important discovery - they managed to find two new stars, which shocked them with their incredibly high speed. The Chinese astronomer Yang Huang announced the discovery to the world.

The LAMOST superpower space telescope located at the Xinglong Observation Station in the Chinese province of Hebei helped make a unique discovery for space researchers. Today it is considered to be the largest spectroscope in the world, which can record the spectrum of stars up to magnitude 20.5.

The spectroscope, which is taller than a 15-story building, has detected two new super-high-speed stars. Both celestial bodies belong to blue stragglers ("blue stray" stars), and extremely high temperatures reign on their surfaces.

The first blue star to be discovered is 7 times the size of the Sun. The second open cosmic body is only 4 times larger than our star, but the temperature on it exceeds the solar one by more than twice.

Chinese experts have already calculated that open blue stars are located 70 thousand light years from our planet. The exact speed of their movement has not yet been determined by scientists, but it is already known that it is at least 300 kilometers per second.
