It seems that this is it, the triumph of technology and the dreams of science fiction writers - inhabited Mars, a new home for humanity. But won't this one-way trip be the beginning of the destruction of our planet? How was it once in antiquity, when the Earth was simply burned by an unknown weapon from space?
Mars is our closest neighbor in the solar system. He could very well be a double of the Earth. 4 billion years ago, the planet had a thick air atmosphere, and part of the surface of Mars was covered by an ocean of water, and now it is a lifeless desert. If earthly astronauts do not die during a hard landing, then they will face solar radiation, a meager supply of oxygen, water and food.
