In the world there are a huge number of all kinds of hypotheses about the past of our planet, as well as the solar system. There is some evidence that nuclear weapons could have been used on Earth thousands of years ago, that our ancestors could have possessed similar technologies and traces of nuclear strikes can be found in various parts of the Earth.

But the version of some ufologists about a nuclear war on Mars sounds the most fantastic. Humanity has long wanted to colonize the Red Planet, but maybe there is still an intelligent civilization left there? Interestingly, this hypothesis is supported by some scientists. As arguments, they use the fact that a high content of xenon 129 was found in the atmosphere of Mars, and isotopes of potassium and thorium on the very surface of the planet, which can prove the theory of a nuclear war on Mars.

Due to nuclear strikes, the planet's atmosphere could be depleted and the planet turned red. There is also a version that earlier Mars was a copy of the Earth, only smaller in size. In addition, experts note a huge depression, which is located next to the Sea of Acidalia on Mars and its size exceeds four hundred kilometers.

And on the Martian dunes, glass was found, which could have formed as a result of exposure to high temperatures on the sand.

Ufologists also note various findings in the images from the Red Planet, which may be the remains of an intelligent civilization. The Martians could either disappear completely or go under the planet's surface.

There is also a version that the war could not have occurred on Mars itself, and nuclear strikes could have come from space, but who could have inflicted them and why? There are no clear arguments on this matter, and you can argue over this issue for more than one day and never come to a specific conclusion. It is possible that in the future scientists will either find evidence of this hypothesis or refute it, but so far only questions remain.
