In December 1972, the Challenger spacecraft landed on the moon in the Taurus Littrow Valley, located in the southeastern Sea of Clarity. The Apollo 17 mission lasted more than three days, and the American astronauts Eugene Cernan and Harrison Schmitt were the last people to leave their footprints on the moon.
There are quite a few interesting things in the photos of this mission. In addition to shots with lunar landscapes, there are some more interesting shots. A YouTube-registered ufologist named Streetcap1, who is constantly studying NASA photographs in search of unique objects, discovered in two images of the Apollo 17 mission an unusual object hovering over a mountain range called the Southern Massif (see video below).
Enlarging the image to the maximum possible, the ufologist tried to examine the bright white body of a disc-shaped UFO with protruding elements that glow in turquoise. It turned out that the same object was recorded in two photographs.
Apparently, extraterrestrial observers became interested in the movements of earthlings in a lunar vehicle, with which they transported equipment and samples of lunar soil.
The sight is really impressive. Since the three-meter four-wheeled all-terrain vehicle "Lunar Rover" No. 3 with four electric motors famously cut across the surface of the Moon at the highest speed of as much as 18 kilometers per hour.
