Having summarized the knowledge about extraterrestrial civilizations accumulated over many centuries, scientists have proposed three possible scenarios for human contact with aliens, if such ever happens. According to the first option, the aliens will simply take over the Earth, using their technical superiority. They will destroy most of the world's population, and the remaining people will be turned into slaves and guinea pigs. This scenario was once described by H. G. Wells in the novel War of the Worlds.
The second option is the same seizure of the Earth, but only by milder methods, for example, by psychological submission of people to the will of the colonialists. It is clear that this scenario does not bring anything good to humanity. It is no coincidence that the theoretical physicist Stephen Hawking did not advise the scientists of the Earth to send signals to the Universe in order to search for brothers in reason: these "brothers" may be far from friendly. And besides, the concepts of friendliness and unfriendliness are purely human; it will be difficult for us to find contact with a completely different mind, say, a mollusk, an insect or a plant.
The third scenario assumes that we have been "under the cap" of aliens for a long time. They have been studying the Earth for centuries, perhaps, they are conducting some genetic experiments here, but they are not going to come into contact with us, we do not come into contact with laboratory mice!.. As you can see, of all the options proposed by scientists, there is not a single one that answered would be the notions of an ordinary man in the street, expecting that someone will come to us with open arms, and the media with loud cheers will notify the whole world about it. If you remember, some science fiction writers painted something similar in the past, and this fabulous idea has taken root so much in the minds of millions of people that one can only wonder …
As for the ufologists, they do not agree with the conclusions of scientists in the main thing: in their opinion, contact with aliens has already taken place long ago. And this is demonstrated not only by contactees, of which there are more and more, but also by the government structures of leading countries, in particular the United States and Russia, which behave as if they know much more about the universe than all other people.
It's another matter that aliens work with us indirectly, but there are good reasons for this. For example, a contactee from Portugal (for obvious reasons, the surname was not disclosed) says that there is a brotherhood of various alien races in the Universe, but earthlings are not yet allowed into it, because, according to the Charter of higher powers, civilizations waging wars and aggressively disposed towards each other cannot be members. In space, the contactee specifies, everything is connected by a "ball of threads" into a single Matrix, and this Matrix is God, and everything that happens in it is divine will. And according to this will, until people lay down their arms and stop killing each other, direct communication with other civilizations will be inaccessible to them.
