Reports of UFO crashes have been everywhere in the media since the middle of the last century, after the sensational case in the American town of Roswell. However, similar cases were known to mankind earlier, including the inhabitants of the Russian Kingdom of the 18th century.
So, the first recorded case of observing the crash of unidentified flying objects is reported in the archives of the times of Peter I. What he saw was reported by the Dutch envoy who worked in the then capital - St. Petersburg, called Baron De Bee. According to the information given by him, in 1716 two flying objects collided in the St. Petersburg sky. As described, they were black with a spherical base and flattened edges. Speech about their earthly origin can not go at all, since the first plane took off into the air a little less than two centuries later.
There is not so much information about UFOs in the 18th century, for obvious reasons, because the lion's share of them was obviously not entered into the archives. On the other hand, you can find a lot of information about these phenomena in the annals of British history of the Victorian era.
