The documents tell us that the military, dealing with ufological problems, did not immediately understand the seriousness of their work. The first conversations with UFO eyewitnesses caused a sharp negative about the representatives of the special services, because these people were considered insane. As a typical case, one can cite the story of one of the inhabitants of Scotland, who claimed that a real route of alien creatures passes over her home. According to her, she witnessed several times how transparent spheres and large colored triangles rushed in the sky above her head at unprecedented speeds, which could suddenly stop and fall vertically downward. Then Madame again saw how the object sweeps over her house in the opposite direction. She experienced an unusual fear because she was afraid of a UFO falling right on her. She told intelligence and the government about her fears for her life and health, and asked for help.
Other eyewitnesses saw flying cigar-shaped objects floating smoothly over London and Bristol. UFOs could even take the form of a jellyfish or a huge writhing worm, which certainly frightened people.

Oftentimes, photographs of fraudsters also become a reason for the indignation of ufologists. Back in 1990, a Belgian photojournalist fabricated materials himself, capturing on film not an alien ship, but a model made of wire. Ufologists, having seen the photo, were already ready to consider them as proof of the existence of aliens, but the fraudster himself admitted to what he had done.
