Thus, the characters 6EQUJ5, which were displayed on the printout when the Signal was received, fully meet the requirements for composing a password. But how do you know if the information is really hidden behind the 6EQUJ5 characters, which encryption method was used, and based on which alphabet?
If the aliens controlled the process of sending and receiving the WOW Signal, then the first candidate for decoding the 6EQUJ5 characters is the English alphabet, since the signal was received at the Ohio State Institute Observatory in the USA.
Any alphabet has the same structure - fixed alphanumeric order. It is he who underlies human speech and all operations of encoding information. The earliest and oldest encryption techniques are "substitution" and "rearrangement". In accordance with a secret algorithm, letters and numbers were substituted for each other and rearranged.
