A group of international astrophysicists has captured 11 radio signals of artificial origin! Scientists argue that these signals have no analogues and most likely they come from a spaceship, which is located on the border of our universe and the Milky Way. Now cryptographers are trying to figure out the key to the message. What could be in this message? Is it possible with modern technology to establish contact with aliens? Is there a universal language for communicating with intelligent beings?
"Long, distinct, with good pulsation" - this is how scientists characterize 11 signals received from space. This is the first such clear evidence of the existence of extraterrestrial life.
The signals came from the border of our Universe and the Milky Way, when the ship issued signals it was at a distance of 3 billion light years from the Earth, in other words, the signals were sent at the moment when the first organisms capable of photosynthesis appeared on our planet.
Astrophysicists from the international group working in the Breakthrough Listen program are engaged in decoding. This is the largest project to search for signals from alien civilizations.
The program started in the summer of 2015 at the initiative of Russian billionaire Yuri Milner and British scientist Stephen Hawking. Researchers believe that the study of sounds from space is not given due attention and too much is rejected without any analysis.
Since the middle of the last century, at least 10 signals have been recorded, the origin of which is associated with the existence of intelligent life forms, and the most famous of them is the "Wow" signal.
In 1977, NASA astronomer Jerry Eiman received it. He was working on a program to search for extraterrestrial civilizations and came across a signal coming from the constellation Sagittarius. Having made a printout of this audio stream, the astronomer saw the code and out of surprise, Eiman wrote next to him "Wow!" (this gave the name to the signal). The signal lasted 77 seconds and was never repeated.

The distance to the "Wow" signal is approximately 1,000 light years. Is there nothing closer already? There is. And perhaps even in our Solar
System.
In 2002, astrophysicists recorded radio signals emanating from Saturn, and some argue that you can even hear the speech of aliens in the stream.
For our part, we also made attempts to reach out to alien neighbors. Back in 1962, the phrase “Mir, Lenin, USSR” flew into Space, and the signal was intended for the inhabitants of the orange planet from the constellation Libra.

With a successful scenario, the devices of aliens will be able to catch it in 2,150 million years.
But why is there no clear confirmation of the existence of intelligent life for so many years of observations? Some experts believe that it is the technician's fault. The fact is that, according to researchers, aliens do not communicate using radio signals.
Technologies are being improved every year and are being introduced deeper into everyday life. Experts believe that if we are not alone, then already in this century, new developments will allow us to come into contact with an alien civilization.
