We will land right here …

Scientists from the European Space Agency have declassified and published photographs of Mars, which clearly show white deposits, presumably snow or ice, which, according to NASA, will be useful as a source of water for the colonization mission of the red planet Mars One, which starts in the next decade. Involuntarily, the famous is recalled: "Well, the bomber, did they fly?!.."

The thing is that NASA experts themselves indicate that the mortality rate for the first group of Martian contract soldiers is 60% (from the moment of launch from the surface of the Earth). At the same time, it will be possible for the first "Martians" to return to Earth in 2037, this is clearly stated in the contracts … Thus, the "pioneers of colonization" know that they are doing for the future of the Earth.

However, there is good news: a water source has been found on Mars for the participants of this Mars One mission. The unique photograph was taken with the ESA Mars Express spacecraft, which orbits Mars in low orbit. The photo was received on December 6, 2016, but the first image was presented to the world community on March 24. On it, an unusual phenomenon is observed in the western part of the Hellas plain in the form of a vast white area - it is snow or ice, which means that it will be possible to extract water.

The NASA explanation indicates that the Hellas crater, on the territory of which deposits of ice and snow are recorded, reaches 2,200 kilometers in length and 9 kilometers in depth. This crater is the largest formation of impact origin, moreover, the height differences reach 6 thousand meters, which indicates a giant asteroid, thanks to which the Hellas crater was formed several hundred million years ago.

During the Martian winter, the plain of Hellas is visible from Earth as a large bright spot. It is especially noted that the crater will be used as a source of water for NASA's first Martian expedition, planned as part of the global Mars One program, which provides for the exploration of Mars by mankind. The first "Martians" will be landed on the planet's surface in 2027, the second expedition will arrive in 2029. By 2035, the total number of colonists will be 20. Provided that the former will still be alive by the time of the second mission …
