The poll showed that most Americans are convinced that UFOs are alien spaceships.
Almost half of the US population believes that UFOs are comic ships of aliens from other planets. This is evidenced by the results of a poll conducted by the Huffington Post in conjunction with the YouGov poll, writes tsn.ua.
During the survey, 48% of people answered that they believe in aliens and UFOs are an extraterrestrial vehicle in space. True, 35% of people rejected this version and believe that extreme events are quite natural. Another 16% were unable to accurately articulate their attitude towards strange objects in the sky. In total, 1000 people from different states of the United States took part in the survey.
“I've always wondered why only crazy, eccentric and middle-aged women in tennis shorts believe in flying sauceboats in the sky. In fact, it has never been so, - commented on statistics nuclear physicist Stanton Friedman, who investigated the UFO phenomenon in Roswell.
“Those who believe in aliens behave modestly and quietly, unlike those who do not. The results are very clear. I gave 700 lectures about UFOs and saw only 11 people who argued with me and argued that aliens did not exist,”added Friedman.
