The production of artificial meat has not yet been put on stream and such products are perceived, rather, as an exception to the rule. But everything goes to the fact that soon artificial meat will become quite commonplace. We recently wrote to you that the United States approved the use of artificial meat, and now it became known that one of the Israeli startups wants to launch the production of artificial steaks by 2020. Moreover, they will be suitable for consumption even for vegans who are quite strict in their gastronomic preferences.

The startup is called Jet Eat and representatives of the company say that the texture of their product is completely identical to the meat one. A specially designed 3D printer helped them in this.

Those who have tasted the meat created in this way claim that the "experience of eating artificial meat" is not much different from eating natural meat. At the same time, the meat from Jet Eat does not contain a single animal cell.

Jet Eat develops its products in collaboration with Israel Institute of Technology and uses its laboratories for experiments. Now the company has only 5 people, but it is already expanding its staff with funds from investors from Los Angeles who are interested in promoting the product to the market. Jet Eat is also a finalist for the European Institute of Innovation and Technology's food competition, the winner of which will be announced in Paris next week.
