From a close distance, the figure, which stands in Gusev's crater with an outstretched hand, looks like a human being.

A year has passed since the time when the world was shaken by an amazing find made on Mars by the American robot Spirit. The photo of the so-called "Martian" flew around, without exaggeration, almost all the media

It was spotted by one of the readers of the British newspaper The Daily Mail, a certain Marcela Bravo, who carefully examined the image of the Red Planet posted on the official NASA website.

It also reports that the image is made up of several frames taken by a panoramic camera in Gusev crater in the period from 1366 to 1369 the day the robot was on Mars (November 6-9, 2007). True, it was made public only in January 2008.

There are still no comments from NASA specialists. But interest in the figurine was revived again. It was fueled by renowned extraterrestrial anomaly researcher Joseph P. Skipper. On his website, he posted a highly enlarged photo of the figurine, obtained from his colleague Rolf G. Varga using forensic technology.

Take a look, too. Does the tongue turn to say that this is just a bizarre stone? It is clearly seen that the figurine depicts a woman (in the earthly sense) of a very well-fed form - fat folds, breasts, and softly outlined hips are noticeable. And she sits not just on the sand, but on a kind of rectangular pedestal.

The color of the figurine is very different from the surrounding landscape - there are no more stones of this color either next to or further from it. It looks like it is made of solid basalt.

Varga himself points to two more light points on the head of the Martian. And calls them eyes.

Experts estimate the height of the figurine at 30-50 centimeters. But Skipper and fellow enthusiasts believe it could be higher. In the traces of the robot, visible in the original NASA image, the researcher established that he visited the location of the Martian several times. And, perhaps, he took several pictures of her from different angles. Therefore, most likely, the scientists of the Martian mission know the clue. And for some reason they are silent about her.

By the way, Skipper and Varga do not exclude the possibility that the Martian may be alive. But here they are clearly overdoing it.
