The experiments carried out by scientists are not always something monotonous, boring and uninteresting to a wide range of people. Sometimes it is quite the opposite. For example, researchers from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Media Laboratory are planning to launch an unprecedented project next week, in which anyone can participate in the management of a living person. At MIT, this experiment is called "the first game in reality," during which a controlled character will need to defeat an out-of-control artificial intelligence program.

The experiment was named BeeMe, and during it a specially trained actor (whose name and surname are currently kept secret) will fall under the control of the Internet community. According to the project manager Niccolo Pesketelli, According to the plot of the game, an evil AI named Zookd accidentally gets on the Internet and only the main character can stop him. But without the help of other people, he cannot cope. At the same time, the game has an "open ending", because it can happen that people who give instructions to the actor will not be able to complete the task. In this case, "the consequences can be catastrophic."

Now a few words about how to manage all this. Participants have 2 control options. The first is to send simple commands like "open the door", "make coffee", "run away" and so on. The second is a voting system for certain teams. As soon as the voting is over and any team is in the top, the actor will execute it. All this is imposed only one limitation: teams must not violate the law and generally accepted norms of morality and rules of conduct, as well as endanger people's lives. Anything else is allowed.

As for the time of the experiment - it will take place on November 1 at 6 am Moscow time and will last for several hours. Anyone with Internet access can try to help combat the out-of-control AI. The BeeMe website is already working, but so far there is only the inscription "How does it feel to be the internet?" and an image of a camera lens.
