The object is called Fuerte de Samaipata, which translates as "fortress". At the same time, scientists do not claim that this is not a fortress, but a place of religious significance, which is funny. Although the name was also given to the object in our time.
But what is so interesting for a seemingly ordinary stone with many traces of unknown purpose? The most interesting thing is the traces in the form of two parallel lines, but I will talk about them later.
Before that, it is worth noting some of the symbols and figures carved in the stone. By the way, it is believed that all this was carved in stone about 600 years ago, although this is only one of the versions.
Also there are something like "windows", if you can call it that. These traces are somewhat reminiscent of the mine workings in Ollantaytambo, but here everything is many times simpler and, apparently, everything was hollowed out by hand, since traces of rough work are visible.

And in fact, no matter how much I strongly deny the official history, in this case, the complex really looks like a religious or ritual one, and judging by the rough traces, all this could have been created with primitive tools, except for one BUT.
These are the very tracks I mentioned at the beginning. On the stone, among many strange elements and geometric shapes, not even close to quality processing, there are two parallel lines.
If the lines are compared with everything else that can be seen on the stone, then they stand out brightly, since everything is exactly, they are parallel and the same, and there are no errors of even one millimeter.
The purpose of these lines was never put forward, but there are enough versions. One of the main ones, close to the official one, is a pointer to certain coordinates. The lines purportedly indicate a point in the sky where the azimuth is 71 ° and the height is approximately 6.75 °.
It is believed that in the past they could have marked the fall of a comet, but in that case, how could ancient people know the exact coordinates and generally understand this?
The next most popular version is the launch of some kind of aircraft. Whoever said anything, but I believe in the existence of perfect flying machines in the past and have already written an article about ancient runways. But in this particular case, the version does not seem very plausible to me.
These stripes are too small to help anything take off. The only thing that is possible is some kind of launch, perhaps a shot, but not stripes for acceleration, this is unlikely in my opinion.
The only thing I would like to note is the stripes, which, in my version, have nothing to do with the creators of everything else on the stone, since the level of work and accuracy is completely different.
One way or another, the purpose of both all the elements and these bands has not yet been accurately determined, therefore the complex still raises controversy and questions. And for what and who created these stripes, now one can only guess.
