Around Alpha Centauri, which is known to be our closest space neighbor, orbits a unique exoplanet, representing a world like ours, but only better. This assumption was voiced by Eduardo Bendek, an astronomer at NASA's Ames Research Center (United States of America).

The star Alpha Centauri is, by the standards of cosmic distance, literally close to us - only 4.4 light years away. However, humanity still lacks the technology to travel at the speed of light. This fact, however, does not frighten Bendek, who proposes to send at least a probe to the planet he discovered, moving at an approximate speed of light. The latter, as the scientist assures, may well be created.

“Having built such a probe and having waited several decades, people will be convinced of the veracity of my discovery. Around Alpha Centauri, a heavenly planet in comparison with the Earth, filled with the most amazing forms of biological life, really turns. We simply have to move there over time, because the resources of the Earth will be exhausted very soon,”says the astronomer.
